As I said, I'm just letting it drop. We've had this exact same argument so many times it's just getting tired now. And you can see this as a dodge, fine whatever, but I really just don't give a crap anymore.

Yes, I recall that. At the climax of Tides of Darkness, he came to the conclusion that since the orcs were not of Azeroth, they were not of the Light, and that's why the Light couldn't be blamed for their evil.
However, if you read Beyond the Dark Portal, he did everything he could to suppress racism by the Alliance, from suggesting the a group of kids play a different game (they were essentially playing "Beat the Orc"), to trying to help Alleria with her crippling crazy variant of racism.
Turalyon is a guy who believed in punishing those who deserved it, who included almost all the orcs during the Second War, but at the same time, he wasn't a hateful man, and he didn't believe in punishing innocent orcs because they were born the wrong race.
For a more in depth assessment (by me) of him and the Horde, with quotes and everything, go

Do you think that the silence of the Orc ancestor only applies to those that died before the spirits accepted the orcs again (before Thrall became a shaman), or to all orc ancestors ever?
Basically, if an orc died now, would his descendants be able to speak to him, now that the orcs aren't under the Blood Curse?
I know that the old pre-Horde ancestors are pretty much lost forever, but could it be possible to talk to more recent ancestors?

The thing that got me wondering about it was Gurka, a shaman who was born some 33 years after the orcs were freed. She'd sure have an ancestor or two that died in that time.

Hey guys. Just stopping by to check something for a character backstory idea I have;
The the Arcanite Reaper ever been mentioned in lore or anything? I wish to use it as a "legendary" weapon for two of my characters to fight over. They end up both chasing after the origonal and then coming together to make a second one.
Would this be okay? Or am I cutting into lore?

The only thing I can find in terms of lore is a quote from the TCG:
The arcanite reaper was long the mark of a true warrior in Azeroth. Having one crafted was like a rite of passage.
It probably means nothing, although it could be noted that it may hint that there are multiple varients of it throughout Azeroth (such as the one Saurfang, his son, and the Warlock Minion Felguards use). That, though, is pure speculation.

There's also
the Ripper
, which is too much metal for one sword! In other words; there is no 'original' anymore, but it is special in that only 'special' blacksmiths can craft it.

So I would be better off going with a "Quest for the lost pattern" story?
Shortly after they make the new one, I want the recipe to be "lost forever" in a sense, possibly by having it burnt in fire or lava.

I think that'd be better. They make their own plans, which get stolen. They chase each other for it, then after it is made, the plan is burned, forcing somebody else to make a new personal one.

Actually, at this point, here is my basic idea;
Arcanite Reaper was once a legendary axe that many people could craft, but it has been lost to time.
One last set of plans exist in the city of the Dark Iron Dwarves, under Blackrock mountain. Very seep withen, where the Dwarves still maintain themselves.
One of them, the Draenei mercenary, is told of the plans and is made an amzing offer if her can get an Arcanite Reaper made.
An Undead Warrior is in search of a new weapon that can handle itself under his fighting style (he keeps breaking weapons.) A sword dealer tells him of the plans and of the ancient might of the Arcanite Reaper.
The two of them meet and fight all along their quest for the plans.
The plans end up being gaured by a magical Saronite golem, wielding its own Reaper.
The work together to make their own reaper and slay the golem. The plans are burned and they both walk away with their own weapons.
The Draenei and Undead get new weapons, the Old man gets screwed.
