One thing you might want to consider about ret aura is that everytime someone is killed within 30 yards of you while ret aura is up is an HK + rep and that can add up to a lot in BGs. So it might be useful to beef up your ret aura a bit.

This is probably the best pvp build, and you still have great ability to do dps in heroic/instances while not doing too much threat.

I just did 2500 dps in raid with offspec/pvp/heroic blue/epic gear in sarth with this spec. Not great, but respectable dps.

I'm still rolling in that spec, you can see my armory in my sig, and that's my "dps" gear....

Being the complete newb I am, didn't think SoC was used that much against in PvP but rather SoJ for the stuns?

That would be dps suicide.
