Downtime to conflagrate?

So i've checked through the stickies etc and recently i've noticed after firing off immolate i seem to be waiting 1-1.5 seconds before conflagrate actually lights up. At first i thought it might be a flight time but clearly thats not feesible as it doesn't travel but lands directly upon the target.
Could anyone explain why this happens?

I didn't include an opening spell order for Destro (or Demo) in the Guide because it doesn't differ greatly from the priority but, regarding conflag, it might be helpful...

Thanks for explaining that to me, and also thankyou for the pointer on party members immolate mis telling you about being able to use conflag. My rotation in general was immo>corrup>conflag>then use triple shadow bolt then repeat.

What's really annoying is when it indicates that conflag is useable because someone else's immolate debuff is on the target, and your's has fallen into the void only to get a 'cannot use that spell' error over and over until you realize you're not doing jack squat and recast immolate and loose 5-10 sec of DPS figuring out why you're conflag didn't go off. /endrant

I have never, ever seen that happen. You guys must be on some weird servers.
My conflag ''downtime'' is roughly .25 sec.
I think severs lag varies greatly, remember Asa when we were talking about that macro with petattack when for you it was resetting the imp's cast while it was working fine with me.

Anyway, the above advice is good if you have to deal with server failure.
