for those of you looking at this page today, and dont play oceanic but want to test this out... you can do atleast a couple of the quests, heres what i did.

created BE mage
Make your way to UC
Pick up quests from the throne room
do the quest to hand out chocolates
set hearth to UC
Hand in
Go outside of UC
(Lazy person step, skip if you have time) Buff frost armor, kite mobs with fireball around and kill a bunch till you got the 10 charms
(skip if done prev step) Run to deathknell and pwn EZ moad there
hearth
get to sylvannas
hand in

And thats all i've done now... i'll edit if i get a chance, wont be updating this post after today because tomorrow people on US can do it with their mains :)

Can anyone confirm the level required for the Seasonal Boss in 2011? 85? 80? 75?

I came here looking for more answers to the same question.
I have found out this, so far:
- 3 bosses, mechanics as before, level 87
- rewards: The heart-shaped box (which appears empty). when opening you get your JUSTICE points reward for the kill (no valor). I believe the box can also contain special rare loot, e.g. the love rocket, but unconfirmed yet
- the other (dropped) rewards have been upgraded to iLevel 346 and they require level 80 to wear them - this makes the even the hot address for ... well anyone, really
- if it were not for the fact that only level 85 can enter the instance for this event or use LFD for it
- there seems to be no additional quest required; LFD, go, do it, LFD more and do it again.
- judging from other seasonal events I would believe the "box" only drops into your bag on the first kill of the day (==daily), but you can farm fitting necklaces ilevel 346 to your hearts content.

Summary: As expected 85, but given it's a fun event blizzard should have at least ALLOWED 80+ a chance to get in. the way it's coded now they show their "love" by teasing them with blue items "You could wear it if you could get it...."

EDIT: Just as I posted this, Blizzard announced they published their FAQ (linked here). Acc. to that you need to be level 84 to be able to use the LFD..

I made a ticket and got response from GM who basically said due to cataclysm they overlooked some things and a lot of quests and all things related to this event are broken or bugged for some people.
I personally can't get follow up quest to do Man on the Inside and get achievement, no loot from box after doing brothers(said that's due to emblems>JP switch), bugged vendors etc.

He also said they are working hard on hotfixing it so I hope it will be done by tomorrow when it resets.

The best place to farm Lovely Charms are by pats called Stone Bats located in Deephold. Please watch this youtube video I created to inform you exaclly where they are located and more pats to farm off of. Its worth the view and very helpful.
P.S. I got 70 lovely charms in about 10-15 minutes.

for you 85 their are a few good locations to farm your love charms.

the one thing to remember with this is your lovely charm will auto loot into your bags without you looting anything. and icecrown glacier is a very good spot to farm for these. coorinates 43-56 do a circular path their finding the mods, scourge banner-bearers and converted heroes. ive been aoe them and getting from 1 to 6 lovely charms per mod group i took out. im a level 85 shammy and ive been using 2 earthquakes and then my thunderstorm and that been killing them quickly enough. make sure to let your earthquake go though its entire cycle or it wont work.

ive done this with both horde and alliance shammys and it works for both

Another decent place to do this at lvl 85 is around Tol Barad where you quest. On my realm a stack of embersilk is about 70-90g. Easy to find trash to kill. Doing the dailies...I got maybe 20 braclets.

Ok for all u lvl 85s wondering how to be able to make alot of these charms , i qued for AV and went to the mines, killed everything in there and ended up with more charms then i needed for all the achments that require u to make these things. good luck hunting :)

You can get lovely charms anywhere actually. Any honorable kill has a chance to give you one(Auto looted) both pvp and pve

I would say it's most annoying event.
Lost too much currency and time on some achievements, like you must drop Love Fool exactly in Gurubashi inner ring not in area called Gurubashi Arena. When you eat chocolate in Dalaran at picnic basket you must first wait for buff appear, these mistakes cost me much time and currency, very annoying.

I am pet and rep and achievement collecting on my 85 main and doing Argent dailies. One of the dailies is to kill 10 or 12 Converted Heroes and report back. These guys are something like level 70 and extremely non-elite. She has a bag of bombs ( Big Boy?). I drop the little lady in the field, aggro one hero so they all come rushing, drop a large red bomb, 8 die at once and I get the "ching!" sound 5 or 6 times. I can also respec her over to affliction and run around throwing DoTs on everyone, not bother looting and collect boatloads of charms. The felpuppy finishes off what the DoTs don't do.

Charms will drop off mobs that are a good bit lower than the 'toon you are running. My mage was doing the truck quest near Menethil and was about 8 levels above them and collecting charms like crazy. (She dinged and the mobs in Aerie Peak are pwning her QQ ) If you are doing what I call the truck quest, just kill extra mobs, since you are there anyway. This is especially good if the quest mobs are at a much lower level than your 'toon.

As of patch 4.3.2 - The bosses still drop 346 neck pieces which mostly get passed by party members due to the level quality items we have now.

Also, it seems to be glitched - Currently I have lost 3 charms, 2 charm kits and 20 tokens - I won't be participating until it's taken care of cause it seems like a waste :(

After killing for 2 hours i got 2 charms. Doing same mobs on my druid i got charms out the butthole. So i dont think ill do doing this at all. I love to get a mount but this is nuts. If there going to have a quest make sure crap drops.

The loots for the ~~2015~~ 2021 Love is in the Air festival have been updated to ~~635~~ 158 drops (at max level). Hurray!

Shard of Pirouetting Happiness
Sweet Perfume Broach
Winking Eye of Love

As of patch ~~6.0.3~~ 9.0.2, these are still dropped after defeating Apothecary Hummel & Co.

The necklaces now have an on-use effect which awards the It Might Just Save Your Life achievement. Now all I want is my damn hoverboard!

how to create lovely charm bracelet, the chest that allows you to gather love tokens you need 10, i have 23 but i cannot make?

Even tho the mount is boring this year (I loved the pink rocket, but alas, wasn't able to get enough tokens to get to it last year, when I first started playing), I'm trying to figure out if it is *possible* to get it and all the other achievements.

From what I can see, one can only get 30 love tokens each day, max.

One needs:
270 : mount
50 : (5/rocket) x10 for 粉色的焰火
22 : (2/handful of petals) x 11 race/combo classes for 爱情花簇
3 : (2/petals + 1/perfume) for 自讨苦吃 (assume same both factions)
50 : (5/silver shafted arrow) x 10 for 被射中了！
50 : (10 / love fool) x 5 pitying for 爱情娃娃
40 : Truesilver-Shafted arrow to get Peddlefeet and 匹德菲特恒久远
485 : minimum so far.

Then there are:

? : (20/dress box) x ? to get a black one for 爱情的好运
? : (10/box of candies) x how many to get the Buttermilk Delight? and 齿颊留香
10 : for the romantic picnic basket, these two for 独身一人？
? : (2/bag of candies) x ? to get all eight? for 和我在一起吧！

I'm working on the assumption that the boxes you get have a random assortment of the items inside, and so, for instance, it might take only one dress box to get the black dress for the achievement, or it might take an infinite amount... random numbers are random. (Theoretically, anyway.)

30x14 days = a maximum of 420 from the dailies (which is assuming you do them every day, unlike me who was busy in RL and just started yesterday...)

If you have gotten the 一束红玫瑰 or 一束黑玫瑰 from a dungeon boss, you don't need the 一堆玫瑰花瓣s, but that only saves it by 22.

But apparently, you can make a 可爱的情人符手镯 and sell it back to the vendor for 1 爱情信物. I suspect that this is what's going to be required to get the mount *and* all the achievements that rely on the tokens.

Good luck farming those 可爱的情人符.

ETA: I can't 'sell' them to the Lovely Merchant. The page for the token says it's sourced from drop, quest, and vendor. Here's hoping I was doing something wrong... :( :( :(

As of 2/12/2014 不稳定的腐蚀 within 潮汐王座 will no longer grant you 可爱的情人符!

However, there is a new spot to farm 可爱的情人符 from 跳跳兔 and 跳舞兔 within 风暴烈酒酿造厂

The Strategy:

For the love of all things (no pun intended) don't forget to get a 可爱的情人符工具箱 prior to starting this farm!

You will need to clear your way to 乌克乌克 by killing the two 湿透的猢狲争斗者 and the three 狂暴的猢狲争斗者. Note that these 狂暴的猢狲争斗者 can inflict 炽火幻象 which may be troublesome for casters.

You will have to kill a total of 40 Hozen before 乌克乌克 will spawn. Use 滚动的酒桶 which will deal 酒桶爆炸 to whatever you crash into, thus significantly speeding up this process.

Once 乌克乌克 spawns go ham on him. Watch out for his frontal 震地 which is avoidable by simple moving out from the front of him. He also stacks 发疯 so down him as quickly as possible.

After downing 乌克乌克 proceed to the stairs where you will find 跳跳兔, 跳舞兔 and occassionally a 蹦蹦兔. You can stand at the base of the steps (the area right out side of 乌克乌克's crashed party and farm them. Countless 可爱的情人符 from these little guys and they are easy to down.

蹦蹦兔 uses 酒精炸药 which could be a minor setback for casters however they are not as common as the 跳跳兔 and 跳舞兔

Should you hapen to get overwhelmed with 跳跳兔's and 跳舞兔's just 粉碎！ them by using a 大棒槌 to send them flying to the heavens. However doing this will not grant any 可爱的情人符.

If you engage 跳跳大王 this will cease the endless spawn of 跳跳兔 and 跳舞兔.

In ten minutes I got 100 可爱的情人符. Much better rate than from 不稳定的腐蚀!

I will continue to update this as I farm more information.

One of the best places to farm in 5.4 is in Dread Wastes: Terrace of Gurthan and Forgotten Mire. Look for the little sap flies, and one shot aoe them. Minimal work, lots of charms! There are also flies in the Paoquan Hollow area of Valley of the Four Winds.

Recently farming for an xmog dagger in Old Hillsbrad I was pleased to see Tarren Mill decked out for the "Love is in the Air" event. Or should I say "Love was in the Air."

To this day the story of Taretha and Thrall remains one of my favorite Warcraft love stories. Not romance mind you, but a profound friendship and someone at Blizzard must have been thinking the same when they left the past alone and kept the decorations.

Closing in on World of Warcraft's 10th anniversary, I love still being able to play and make these tiny discoveries from time-to-time.

It has been confirmed by Blizzard that this year's event dungeon (as well as future ones) is and will remain max-level-only:

And yet another event that could have given something new for the garrisons but didn't. I mean, come'on! There are a bunch of things used to decorate the main cities that could go in our garrisons, hearts, flowers, candles...The next expansion is still far, if Blizzard expects people to play in world events up until there, they could at least give them the chance do something that adds up to the WoD content. They did with Hallow's Eve, they did it with Winter's Veil, integrating new quests in garrison too, lessening the needed farming. It looked so promising for the next world events and yet..... nothing!
Losing my hopes for the rest of the year...

I couldnt find or get this information anywhere thus im asking here. Does ANYONE know what level requirement there is for Demon Hunter to queue for this event? I made a new Demon Hunter and finished the whole intro area up until selecting the assault zone on your map. I have also completed the 6 quests in Orgrimmar and even though the NPC has a message saying 'Queue for the Crown Chemical Co. battle.' upon pressing it I just get redirected to the dungeon finder tool without anything happening. I am level 100 currently.

真银箭头: 40 爱情信物(s) (Notes: The Warcraft version of Cupid; a mini goblin with wings and a bow!)

一盒巧克力: 10 爱情信物(s) (Notes: You want the 快乐奶油 from the box for the 独身一人？ achievement, while collecting all 4 possible chocolates from the box for 齿颊留香. You may need to purchase more than one box! Yes, it's possible to receive all 4 chocolates from one box.)
爱情娃娃: 10 爱情信物(s) (Notes: You will need to purchase five of these fools for a total of 50 tokens, as they're required for the 爱情娃娃 achievement. Be sure to read the comments on that page so you don't waste any of your fools.)
可爱的裙装盒: 20 爱情信物(s) (Notes: You're hoping and praying that the 可爱的黑裙子 is the dress to drop. None of the other possible dresses reward the 爱情的好运 achievement. All dresses have an even drop rate, so it falls to the hands of RNGesus here.)

爱情信物 Total: 47 (Notes: This is a minimum value, as RNG is in play.)

Farming Charms:
Please follow Kiki0's comment here for information on farming 可爱的情人符s. Using their path, I've seen charm amounts anywhere from 49 to 73 in a single run. This method should net you at least 500 charms/per hour, which equates to at least 50 爱情信物(s)/per hour.

Given the above data, you're looking at ~16 hours of farming. (But don't forget to complete all of the dailies for ~30 tokens/per day.)

Personally, after 10 runs, I averaged 55 charms/per run. If speaking in averages, that's 55 tokens/hour. Thus, the average on farming hours is 14 hours. Best of luck!

The Crown Chemical Co. Notes
Aside from the holiday necklaces, 药剂师汉摩尔 drops other items. Here is a list of the items I have seen drop:

一袋情人糖 (x1)
一盒巧克力 (x1)
可爱的烟花 (x5)
All perfumes/colognes

I ran the dungeon three more times (after receiving the first run reward), and he didn't re-drop anything above if he dropped a necklace. It would appear that necklaces mean you get no other loot. In other words, spam the dungeon enough and you can save yourself at least 12 爱情信物(s). :)

Helpful WeakAuras:
I created a couple of WeakAuras for this event. This WeakAura will track how many 可爱的情人符s you have in your inventory and bank, and will also cover how many 可爱的情人符手镯s they will convert to. On the other hand, this WeakAura will track your current time and snapshots the time when you've entered an instance. Use these two WeakAuras to your advantage to track items, as well as stop yourself from hitting the 10 instances/per hour cap.

Helpful Tips:

Saving 40 爱情信物(s): You can purchase the pet off of the auction house. Buy the 真银箭头 from the vendor, get the 匹德菲特恒久远 achievement, sell the arrow back to the vendor for a refund and purchase the pet from the auction house.
~~可爱的烟花 can be sent between characters, as they're not soulbound or tied to this event, per se~~. These can drop from 药剂师汉摩尔. Thus,
you can save an additional 10 爱情信物(s).
银色箭头 can be traded between players, but players are unable to mail them between their own characters. (This is a possible save of 10 additional tokens.)
The 一束红玫瑰 can be used to earn credit toward the 爱情花簇 achievement, so save yourself the 6 tokens! :)
Don't bother spending any tokens on perfume, as 药剂师汉摩尔 has the chance to drop all of them if you don't get a necklace - save a token!
If you have a member in your guild that's like me, then a 一盒巧克力 (or two) could be in your guild bank. (If available, this is a 10-token save!) 药剂师汉摩尔 also has a chance to drop one if you don't get a necklace.

as of BFA - soloing legion normals will yield a good amount of charms- currently farming normal Eye of azshara and getting a decent amount

*****ATTENTION ~~120'S~~ Max Levels***** especially if you're geared....Eye of Azhara on normal is a great way to gather charms! Just cleared all trash around first boss and boss....got 30+ charms.

So here's a great Blizz idea - New Expansion Drops and main grind is Azerite to power your Heart of Azeroth neck piece - and empower any other Azerite armour piece.

Now just to be totally Blizz during Love is in the Air event - the main dungeon reward will be,,,,,,,,,,,,,,............................................

A 365 neck piece - rendering it useless .

Love is in the air my strategy for Alliance as of 8.01 Battle for Azeroth. For Horde players I am sure you can figure out the same paths using your own portals.

120 Alliance Demon Hunter, Havoc, ilvl 384. Heartstone set to Snug Harbor Inn, Boralus Harbor, has Dalaran Heartstone and Cloak of Coordination for Stormwind . Unfortunately, no Mage portals.

Do the opening quests from the quest givers in Stormwind, if you have not already done so. The entire quest team is located in front of the main bank. Once completed, get a Lovely Charm Collector’s Kit from Qwee Q. Peddlefeet who is floating near the bank (coord. 62.47, 75.04),
There are three daily quests in Stormwind, one each in Ironforge, Darnassus and Exodar for a total or 6. Completing them will provide you with 5 Love Tokens each (30 total), which you can use to purchase items from the Lovely Merchant located beside Qwee Q. Peddlefeet in Stormwind. To create 1 love bracelet you requires 10 Love Charms which you get from killing mobs close your level.

Daily quests are: 1) from Qwee Q. Peddlefeet – A gift for the King of Stormwind . 2) From the Public Relations Agent a quest to buff 10 NPCs in Stormwind with Cologne, Chocolates, etc depending on the day and 3) Inspector Snip Snagglebolt, Crushing the Crown quest , which takes place in Silverpine Forest. The other 3 quests are noted below.

To farm Love Charms I found the Eye of Azshara was the best place to solo for my level.
To get to Eye of Azshara, use your Dalaran heartstone or fly to Stormwind Keep, there is a portal in the first room on the left once you enter the Keep.

1) Go to Dalaran, Azsuna and Eye of Azshara dungeon. Kill everything … everything, including yellow targets and you should receive approx. 120 lovely charms in one run. You will need a minimum of 40 for the daily quests. I had no problem soloing any of the bosses. Reset dungeon and repeat as many times as you wish before reset will not allow you anymore. Note: the charms just fall into your bag, no need to pick them up.

2) Fly back to Dalaran and take the portal to Stormwind if you have not already picked up the dailies. If you have the dailies portal to Darnassus and leave Stormwind for the end. Portals are located in Greyfang Enclave (40.57, 54.89).

3) {Optional or leave for the end} Create a Lovely Charm Bracelet from 10 Lovely Charms (just right click the charms) and head to visit the King in Stormwind Keep, turn in quest. Head down the ramp/corridor of the keep before you exit the keep, turn right into a room with the portal to Dalaran.

4) Head to Greyfang Enclave (40.57, 54.89) and take portal to Darnassus. I did not have to reset to the old Darnassus but you may need to do this prior. You will be in the Temple of the Moon, pick up the quest from Qwee Q. Peddlefeet A Gift for High Priestess Elune. Qwee is located at the base of the temple ramp on a little man-made island at 32.15, 54.18. Create a Lovely Bracelet. Head back to the Temple up the ramp to the second level, turn left and continue around until you spot her and turn in the quest. Return to the main floor of the temple, there will be a portal to Exodar, take the portal.

5) Once in Exodar, head up the ramp to go outside, just outside the door, immediately turn right and the event quest givers will be there. Get the quest from Qwee, A Gift for the Profit, create one bracelet, head back inside to Profit Velen who is located at 32.15, 54.18 there will be a staircase in this area he is one floor up from the main level, turn in quest.

6) Heartstone to Dalaran, or if still on cool down, then to Snugg Harbor Inn and portal to Ironforge. Get out of the Hall of Mysteries, head right and find Qwee outside the Ironforge Bank . Pick up the quest A Gift for a Lord of Irionforge. Create one bracelet. To the right of Qwee is a door to a pathway in the wall, go through it, the High Seat is located at 45.12, 48.89 in front of the Great Forge, complete the quest.

7) Go to the flight path in Ironforge and fly to the closest flight path you have for Silverpine Forest in The Eastern Kingdoms, south of the Undercity. For me that was Chillwind pass in Western Plaguelands. Fly to Pyrewood Village in Silverpine Forest (47.25, 72.33) Complete the quest Crushing the Crown. Heartstone back to Stormwind using whatever is off cooldown or use your Cloak of Coordination, if you have one. Turn in Crushing the Crown to Snip Snagglebolt. Also turn in any other remaining quests.

8) At this point you can finish making your bracelets and turn them in for love tokens [爱情信物 or keep them for the next time you can do the dailies. Each of the dailies gives you 5 Love tokens for one bracelet, whereas you will only get 1 love token per bracelet from the Lovely Merchant located beside Qwee Q. Peddlefeet. It is much more profitable to do the quests which take only 15-20 minutes as I have done. Repeat as needed daily.
Thanks to many here for their suggestions. I hope this helps you speed up these dailies so you are able to purchase whatever it is you want. I am sure there are many other paths to take, but this is what I found to be best with no waiting for hearth cooldowns.

For Shadowlands, I found this to be the most efficient route for Alliance (for all daily quests):

* Have 40 Lovely Charms/4 bracelets ready to go (I farmed Torghast, Layer 1. Might as well get cinders while you're farming. It easily takes less than 15 minutes if you don't worry about 100% completion. Just kill everything and run. I had the most luck in Coldheart, where I got 35+ charms per run.)

Take the portal from Oribos to Stormwind. Gather the quests (three dailies, near the bank).
Complete 为暴风城使者准备的礼物: Take a bracelet to the King. You can also complete the sample daily here. There are 10 people in the throne room.
Take the portal to Darnassus from Stormwind Harbor, then take the Flight Path up to Darnassus.
Complete 为艾露恩的高阶祭司准备的礼物: Grab the daily near where you land and take a bracelet to Tyrande.
Jump down and take the portal to Exodar in the same room.
Complete 为先知准备的礼物: Run up the ramp outside, grab the daily and take a bracelet to the Prophet.
Take the portal from Exodar to Stormwind (near the stairs to the Vault of Lights).
Immediately turn right and take the portal to Boralus.
Immediately turn around and take the portal to Ironforge.
Complete 为铁炉堡国王准备的礼物: Grab the daily by the bank and take a bracelet to the King.
Take the Flight Path to Chillwind Camp, Western Plaguelands and fly over to complete Crushing the Crown.
Don't forget to pick up Follow the Recipe on the ground near the chemical wagon in the town center.
Use Cloak of Coordination to get back to SW and turn in quests!

* Completing all of the dailies will get you 33 Love Tokens per day. You can also queue for The Crown Chemical Co instance for 5-10 extra tokens per day.
