I equipped an average item level of 311 today, including recrafting my 2H staff to 318. The achievement didn't pop. I ran the script above and it said my 2H weapon was at 295 still. Logging out didn't work. I had to close the game completely and relaunch from the app. Once I logged back it, it credited me. Hope this helps someone else!
