, that can be looted or bought from a vendor.
It doesn't appear to matter where you place the item as long as you're in the zone. I put mine on the dock by Shadowprey Village in Desolace and it counted
I did the badlands on my way to Iron Forge for the Bunny Ear Achievement. There weren't any gnomes or dwarves in dalaran so I decided to kill two birds with one stone. Long flight and mounted run, but totally worth it to unstealth in the middle of iron forge to throw ears on an unsuspecting gnome!
Worth the two deaths (once for the dwarf, once for the gnome)
Buy or loot from an egg. You must wear the robe and right click to plant the flower in the mentioned areas.
First, obtain the
(note: not the dress) from either the Noblegarden Vendor (50
) or as a drop from looting the
Brightly Colored Egg
Second, wear the robe.
Third, map out a trip to plant flowers, then right click on the robe to plant them.
If you are Alliance, you can start at Darnassus via Dalaran. Fly to:
Nigel's Point in Desolace
Thalanar in Feralas and walk over to Thousand Needles
Gadgetzan in Tanaris
Cenarion Hold in Silithus
Theramore Isle in Dustwallow Marsh and ride boat to Menethil Harbor
Thelsamar in Loch Modan and just run into the Badlands
So far nobody has mentioned it, but, when you plant the last flower in the last desert for this achievement the flower atually looks like a desert rose. Normally, the flower planted is a little red petal-ed flower but the one you plant to complete this achievement looks like a blue rose. If you wait for it to despawn and plant another right after it in the same location the flower goes back to being the little red one.
It is still possible to get this achievement after Noblegarden ends, so if you have the
and want to get this achievement you can.
This Achievement is easy for a level 80. However it is a nightmare for a low level. I have done this once on my 80. But I decided my priest would be cool to have the Noble title. Unfortunately he is only level 11. So there is alot of death and long grueling travel for a low level. I guess on the bright side I will have flight paths ready for when I level him up.
The flowers appear to be random. I've spawned small large red flowers, a yellow bloom, and now a blue flytrap looking flower.
yea so dont be like me and buy 5 robes... YOU ONLY NEED 1.
Exactly HOW do I plant flowers? Do you get seeds or something? This is the only thing left out...where the heck do the actual flowers come from?
And the best way to get this aciv if im a 40 blood elf rouge is...?
It does not matter
you plant the flower as long as you're in the
. You may equip your
, fly to whatever desert needed, plant a flower (
your robes' icon) the second you land and take off again.
Looks like someone wasn't informed of the current state of Desolace and Thousand Needles since the Cataclysm. I don't think they need that much help with growing plant life any more.
"I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in pain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand..."
This is the achivement, not
Since the cataclysm expansion, Uldum was released. Yet, Blizzard hasn't updated this achievement for Uldum being another desert. Wonder if they have something against Uldum!
As long as you have the
, you can do this achievement during any time of the year; it does not require Noblegarden to be on. But the
are only available during Noblegarden. So pick one up for your lowbie, even though they cannot yet travel to the zones.
This works in "new" Silithus as well.
Does not work in the destroyed Silithus (tried it near Magni where you arrive by portal, a bit further off, and near Zidormi, where there are no apparent changes).
You have to change back to old Silithus at
It also didn't work right away for me, I had to fly a little bit south for it to give credit.
As of Easter 2019, you need to talk to the NPC in Silithus to change back to old Silithus for this achievement to work.
It turns out this does work in "current" Silithus. (From other reports of this not working; it may have changed since last year.)
I landed at /way 75, 26 flying from Un'Goro; fully expecting I'd have to head a little further north to speak to Zidormi.
But I wanted to first give it a try without time-shifting; and the good news is that I got the credit.
Can confirm this does now work in "new" Silithus, the one with the giant sword. Got credit for it today.
"You remain my power, my pleasure, my pain..."
A good route for doing this one, either Horde or Alliance:
Start in your capital city, take the portal to Caverns of Time.
Go plant your flower, then fly north to Thousand Needles.
Fly to Silithus, plant your flower.
Fly north to Desolace.
Return to your capital. These days I like to use the Dalaran hearthstone, then take the portal back.
Take the Cataclysm portal to Twilight Highlands.
Fly south to The Badlands.
As a cosmetic item the use effect on the
is now to learn that appearance. As such the previous use effect, to plant a flower, has been transferred to the
toy. That is what you must now use for this achievement.
NOTE: As the spring robes are now a cosmetic item you can no longer use them to plant the flowers and will have to use the
toy, which is also obtainable from the eggs or the vendor.
