Two new quest hubs here after 2.3

(from horde) You get a quest to go to mudsprocket from brackenwell, about 6-7 quests here in total and get some nice rewards. Also loads of xp with the new 2.3 change

Also there is a crash site where you can start getting quests for from the apprentice just outside tabetha's hut (little hut sign on the map now, also hands out a ZA quest there)

An ideal zone to do for both sides after SM. Goes well with Badlands, as they have the same level range. Has lots of good quests for Alliance and Horde and has the Alliance Artisan First Aid trainer at Theramore Isle.

Its the best zone for lv 35-45.
Patch 2.3.0 made this zone like gods his garden.

Important info, which you guys seem to have forgotten. Not everyone is born with the knowledge of how to get to Theramore :) To get there, simply take the boat from Menethil Harbor, Wetlands.

Anyone know how/what makes the giant seacreature off the docks at Theramore? 12 sharpshooters run to the harbour to fight it but I didn't seem able to click on it to fight it. Also blasts you backwards with a spell.

Added a lot of new quests and a new goblin town called Mudsprocket in 2.3
should increase the leveling potential of this area for both factions by a lot

There has been a portal trainer added in the tower where Jaina Proudmore is located, shes right at the entrance, you can't miss her. But this is for Mages, and is available at level 35, you can get https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=49359 and https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=49360 both at 35. And for the horde they get https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=49358 and https://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=49361

I suggest waiting until about level 36 or 37 to start questing in this zone, because it makes getting to 40 so much easier. As of the new patch, mounts are at level 30, so level 40 isn't as important now, but there are some class abilities that people want at 40. It took me only a couple of hours to get from level 37 to 40 here as a combat rogue. ◄☺►

i saw a huge monster thing here the other day when flying here to get to the other continent and when i stopped i saw a huge thing swimming near the boat dock....unsure what it was i clicked on it and began to persue. The creature had the two ? for its level meaning clearly it was over 73 seeing how i was 70.i decided to kill the creature. i beat on it preatty good but it seemed to have really low hit points for being a ? elite. When i killed it, it just disappeared and no loot or anything. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this guy swimming around terrorizing lobies?

Has anyone ever swam out towards the island thats slightly NE of Theramore? On my way there I came across a few shipwreck debris spots. Trouble is, they were underwater. Above each one is a floating piece of wood thats burning. I've tried fishing them many times, but I just think it's impossible. Are these part of a quest?

Do not forget to loot Sealed Letter from Apothecary Cylla (sp?) in the Tauren camp north of Tabetha's farm for the Loremaster of Kalimdor achievement, especially while doing her "raze the camp" quest.

For alliance at least. Horde results may vary :P

Where there isn't a lot of ore here, its not an overly popular zone. If you are doing something other than mining its a good place to level without having to worry much about ganks on a PVP.

this zone is a perfect alternative to STV. there is basically no Allies there and you can quest virtually uninterrupted.

Things to do in Dustwallow Marsh

For To All The Squirrels I've Loved Before, love these critters:
For Pest Control, kill these critters:
1. Squirrel
For The Scavenger, fish in a Waterlogged Wreckage (found on the North coast)
Buy up to 6 different horses for Mountain o' Mounts at Gregor MacVince (requires exalted status with Stormwind)

I came here at 35 and I got plenty of Yellow quests.
Might not get me past level 38 (since I started earlier) but will deffinately help my since I'm skipping STV as much as possible.

First time I did the new quests in this zone with my new druid. I was amazed how fast I got levels. Easy quests, easy xp. 37-41 in one day. I totally recommend this to every lvl 37+ players.

King drops nothing. He's a neutral mob to Horde and very easy to kill.

The Naga's there are reasonably easy to kill as well because they move very slowly. They also run in fear when low on health making them good farming and and easy as well. DOnt touch the hydras though... theyre hard :P

I was fighting Murlocs north of Theramore Isle up in the top chain of small islands. I was just going in and fighting them in the islands. As I was fighting some, one of them dropped this Enchanted thingy. On it, it said:'
Use: Put it in the Seaworn Altar, if you dare...

So I fought each island after that trying to find the Seaworn Altar. The very middle one, I came to the Seaworn Altar and cleared the Murlocs around it. I then used this Enchanted thingy on the Seaworn Altar. And it summoned Dagun the Ravenger. He is just like Golrosh Giant in Stranglethorn Vale that you fight. But Dagun the Ravenger is only lvl 43 Elite. I'm a lvl 42 pally. And I decided to take on this giant just for the challenge.

Well, 1st battle he killed me, because 2 murlocs got involved and they killed me. Then I came back, fought him again. This time he got no help, and I defeated him. Both times I would use Seal of Light and Judge it on him. Then I would use Seal of Mana. That way, I got health and mana at same time. Then just continued this until he was dead. But at one point, I had to use Seal of Justice and Judge it so he couldn't flee like the 1st time. Then defeated him.

Now, I don't know what the purpose of him is. I just came across this enchanted thingy and summoned him. He didn't drop nothing, but 12s and thats it. I might jsut didn't get lucky for him to drop something, but he didn't when I killed him. Anyone know anything about this Summoned Giant, cause I can't find anything on here about him.

I've done some grinding along the coast near Theramore for Turtle scale and I've seen the shark a number of times (and got chased once). It's 47-48, elite, and does indeed swim VERY close to land, multiple time swimming between the shore and the nearby murloc infested islands. So, if in the area, be careful or bring a hunter like me who can see it coming. :)

"Alcaz" island, is the island prison in which the king of Stormwind is kept... "Alcatraz" is a famous real life island prison :-)

At the beach north of Theramore you can find a lot of floating wreckeche to fish in. Sometimes with fantastic results.

I went there last night on my 46 human warlock. About half way there, I was attacked by an M47 elite coral shark. That shark hits for 200+ damage but I got him. I basically used my void to tank him while I kited him with ranged spell and wand attacks. The only thing that he dropped was a grey item silver fishhook...looks like someone tried to catch him.

Closer into Alcaz Island, there were a bunch of M43-45 non elite threshers, then very close to the island, I discovered a bunch of M57+ elite hydras. Once I was able to get on the island, I mounted up and rode in as far as I could before I was killed. The nagas there are elite and M57+ (They show as ? skulls to me). They were casting mindblast for 500+ damage.

As for what else is there, I couldn't tell you.

Found in the south, near center in the Wymborg. There is a circle you can make with Onyxias lair and Cuthberts lair full of level 44 Dragon kin. Great for hunters as they can be skinned for 2x thick or heavy leather, or worn dragon scale, as well as up to 4s each. A 2 hour harvesting going around and around this circle about 4 times gave me 100 thick leathers, 80 heavy leathers, 35 worn dragon scale and about 10g in loot.

With patch 2.3 there are 50 new quests in this zone plus a nutral goblin camp. Once the matienence ends I'm going to check it out, maybe take some screenies. =)

Mudsrpocket is the new goblin town that they have put here.
42,74 for people with coords, otherwise just head south and you will come across it.
A couple of bugged quests, but overall a nice small new town.

for the chain quest thing, you wont need a lvl 70, you just need to shoot cannons and not be hit into water from ice attack

ok no, you DO NOT need ANY help to kill the ? boss tethyr because all you do is use the mortar and then run like hell so you dont get hit by the water ray thing because it knocks you back really far, i got knocked back so far that i failed the quest

this guy does NO damage at all except for the water bolts, which are only able to hit the marksman

Dustwallow changed from almost useless and empty zone (especially for Alliance) to a great source of money, loot, experience and fun quests (Tethyr, anyone)?

In my opinion they should slowly revamp all the nigh-empty zones like Blasted Lands and Azshara the same way. They did a great job with this place. Well done, Blizzard!

I went short cut, swam from theramore bridge-(entering the marsh), across to 55,51! Yes great path and short cut! Although i am level 35, and the swim was easy, but once you come upon the path out of water, there are mobs level 39+. Being a pally, i just hit freedom if i got stunned and bubbled and drank a potion til i hit the path and kept going. The road to mudsprocket was simple enough to find. Once there got two quests for level 39-40. So i am not really ready for this town yet, but was great to get a new FP and stock up.

It has lots of stuff considering its so small.

*food/drink
*FP for both

I loved this place! Got there at level 34 because STV had all quests in red, got to lvl 42 and im not done yet. Just when you think you're done with Theramore they send you to Sentry Point, then to North Point, then to Mudsprocket and that's where you finish.

I gotta say there are a lot of awesome quests like Take down Tethyr or Cleansing Witch Hill

The gryphon flight from here to Auberdine is hugely long, like 5+ minutes.

The east/north road leads into the Barrens.

Krog in Brackenwall Village (Dustwallow Marsh) asks to check the Shady Rest Inn, been there and found nothing. Is there anything to be found there or is it just some empty quest line leading to nowhere?
