Got my ashes from the lava pools north from Ruins of Thaurissan.

So easy. The Ruins of Thaurissan (around 65,31) had so much, I just blinked around and didn't need to mount. Just run the red trenches, basically anywhere.

The best place I found was the lava flow trench that run between the Ruins of Thaurissan and the Blackrock Stronghold. Easternmost point at about 52,42

The pools can burn you so don't swim through them. My addon showed them all on the map, but if you don't have it, cruising by the pools will bring you mobs of imps and dragonkin unless you're careful. I got between 1 and 3 per hit.
