These are very nice for a 29 twink caster. Unfortunately, you have to tread very lightly when you go in here. Start this quest the moment you hit 29, and have someone clear RFK so you do NOT get XP - These are similar to https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=6697 , but they have stamina instead of agility. Once the path to the boss is clear, kill her and turn in - Make sure you are not close to leveling, or you will be in trouble.

i think hes in thalanaar.. ive seen him, im level 41, and i cant get the quest, ive been seeing him every level since 34 just to get those shoulderpads...

i got them from the quest, and trust me. they are a good shoulder but they don't look that great.

my quest started with a guy in thunderbluff sitting in a tent... wasnt hard though
the quest it was quite ugly the mantle :O

I picked up the quest from a tauren in a tent on the low rise of Thunder Bluff. Kill the boss Razorflank at RFK, turn in quest and get these very nice shoulders. Not the prettiest but great stats and usable for 10+ levels.

they're ugly, but so what? i'm level 36 and these are the best shoulders i can get for quite a few levels. ran RFK with me (36 frost mage), 33 paladin, and 34 rogue. wasn't too hard.

Quest starts in Thunderbluff. Tauren sitting down in a tent. The tent is the last tent on the west of the main TB area. You can get this at quest at lvl 29.

i believe the quest starts from a fallen dwarf right next to the lift in thousand needles. i think he has a book that you have to take to the guy in thalaanar. hope that helps

Speaking from an Alliance's point of view. I don't think this applies to the Horde at all.

You must find Henrig Lonebrow's Journal, near the Great Lift. It's on a dead body which is not hard to miss. Then you go to Thalanaar and speak to Falfindel Waywarder. She will then give you The Crone of the Kraul. You now need to enter Razorfen Kraul and kill Charlga Razorflank.

(Here is a good RFK map)

Once you kill him (and loot his corpse), talk to Falfindel Waywarder once more and you will receive a green gun and a choice between Berylline Pads, Stonefist Girdle, or Marbled Buckler.

I've got these shoulders now and I <3 them :D
To get the quest for horde, go to thunderbluff and take the lift up, the first tent to your left is the tent of the questgiver!
That wasn't too hard, was it :D

From the perspective of a mage, this must be the best quest reward for it's level EVER. Used it until lvl 52 or so, then I got Elder Wizard's Mantle...
