This is probably the first weapon that's really worth making as a Blacksmith. For the level it's not bad, either.

Spiritkiller to be honest with you i dont think anyone would buy a lvl 8 axe for 50s, cause lvl 8's dont generally have 50s....

Im a lvl 13 warrior on Ragnaros and made it when I was lvl 11 and its the best weapon ive ever found, but took me about an hour to get that lvl to make it and get the things u need, but it serves me well

After creating countless warriors and blacksmithing being my favorite profession
this is probably the best low level weapon you can get your hands on. Mats are very easy to obtain and it looks even better with with a little enchantment i recomend this ax to any new fighter.

i made this for my lvl 8 warrior and i was train and she crit 155 on this thing she had the this sick buff but wow 155 my 25 lock hit 200 max

I used this bad boy until level 14. With my orc warrior, I was pwning level 17 allys when i was 4 levels under...I love this thing, and it is quite easy to make

a very good weapon for starting characters, i used it between level 8 and 12 and was doing serious damage with it :)

I'm a Level 9 Orc Warrior and I just made this item today. Right after I made it, I beat a level 10 in a duel. :D I do about 35-40 damamge a hit noramlly and about 50-60 with Heroic Strike. When that crits...oh boy. Advice to all low level warrior blacksmiths...MAKE THIS WEAPON!

Don't bother with this item; it's not a big enough upgrade compared to the 2h rewards you can get from the Elite quests in Dun Morough and Elwynn Forest (Hogger and the Amberstill Ranch Yeti).
