I have this on a rogue and also saw a warrior using it. This weapon is good for both, hands down.
If you are going to AQ20 with your guild, just talk to the warriors and they may let only the rogues roll on it, but if you are on a PUG, the warriors will laugh at your face if you start crying "rogue weapon, rogue weapon".
And this is not good only for ambushes/backstabs. If you have a good sword and put this dagger in offhand, your sinister strike will benefit from the attack power. Very versatile.

I got this dagger a week ago got +5 dmg on it since im a rogue the stats r beautiful with my BG set i get 4923 HP with it ^^ and 810 AP not so bad i guess its pretty good rogue weapon i crit 1.1kBS+ and 2k ambush+. Rogues should get priority over it and then any class.

Hunters WTF. One almost outrolled me on this dagger, and I'm a 16/30/5 Dagger backstab spec rogue, that &*!@ pissed me off too. I don't care if warriors want it or not but hunters come on. Hunters, if I rolled on an epic bow or gun that you wanted and you didn't have, WTF would you think? "Oh what the hell is a rogue rolling on a ranged weapon for I need it more than him" Well that's how I feel about hunters trying to get rogue loot.

wow-player what level was the mage and 2 rogues? 24? Yes fury warriors dps nice, but unless your playing with ppl that dont know how to play their own class rogues and mages should ALWAYS out dps a warrior - otherwise why do mages have to wear cloth while warriors get plate? cuz mages get +damage at the cost of armour and health.

Got that about 3 days after doors of AQ Opened.

Now I use dual Quiraj in Mainhand and Gutgore in offhand, cause I had +15 Agi on Gutgore before Quiraj dropped.
Quiraj enchanted with +5 damage of course.

If you are going to wear dagger of veiled shadows you should (ofc) wear it in Main Hand with +5 damage and Quiraj in offhand with +15 Agi.

tbh i am in a good guild on executus Unforgotten and atm im i have DFB in mh and CHT in of. Most daggers are proritize for the rogues as we require daggers more than any other dagger. why would a furry warrior roll on a dagger, when he can roll on drake talon clever for example, ALL our rogues out dps our fury warriors by a mile. my brother for example is the best fury warrior in our guild i can still out dps him :) rogues can use fist weps and maces, but fists suck and not many good maces drop 2 in naxx and 1 in aq. swords and daggers are rogues best friends but a furry warrior has a choice of axes maces swords and daggers, but they can use 2h weps to so tbh furry warriors no need for daggers week later they will replace it.

Mmmm, im a hunter but no rogue/flurry warrior wanted it so well i was getting sinds we dont use anymore dkp in 20 man instances...otherwise i dont think i would spend a lot of dkp on it..

If it has a crit it would be awesome but unfortunately it doesent...

That is the priority.

Rogue rolls a 1
Warrior rolls a 50
Hunter rolls 100.

Rogue gets the dagger.

Rogues cant use 2h weapons. Fury warriors can use fast swords.
The good high damage rogue attacks require daggers.

im an idiot, i went on a pick up group to AQ20 in hopes that this dagger would drop cuz i was using julies blade and every other dagger that i had drop for me got ninja'd, so we wiped about 10 times, and i really wanted this dagger, so i stuck with them, it dropped, and i almost piSsed myself cuz i rolled a 90 on it, and i was like omg i rolled a 90, i was sooo happy, a warrior rolled a 99 and he got it......, anyone think thats messed up?

Why do you even use DKP in ZG, 20 man raids? take that to MC BWL. No use for that in 20 man raids when you can get better things in MC :S

This dropped in a pug i just led, and some nub who has an AQ40 Dagger in the MH, and has Perditions blade in the OH, needed over me, and i have "Eskhandar's Right Claw..."
I wanna rip his throat out.
Also, when i was letting everyone roll, some warrior asked if he could roll, "Would go great with a shield" when he had Brutality Blade and Drillborer Disk...
No joke i kicked him from the group and ignored him, just to make sure i dont grp with him again.
Please, hunters, let rogues get this if they have bad daggers, or swords, or something, and if you have r'hok...

This dagger is nice for hunter/rogue/fury warrior. I am a rogue...I'm next to get this in my guild via having the most dkp to put forth. I would not get in a piss contest if a warrior or hunter used their dkp on it. Just look at it 15 stam, sweet dps, and 20 atk power. I use to be greedy on daggers and swords. Now I have learned it's a game...meant for fun and why rob others of an item they can use for their benefit. No im not saying this because I'm guranteed it pretty much, I'm saying it because ppl associate weapons with classes and that's a misconception all to often to occur these days. Fyi Ravenondro, if the warrior was fury...he's a plate rogue without stealth so he had every right to roll. Just a thought,

I won it tonight on my fury warrior, I outbid a rogue but he has a fury warrior aswell and knows how good this item is for one.After I apoligised for having to outbid him on a dagger he just said "no worries man, you earnt that DKP so you can spend it on something that benefits you just as much as it would benefit me BECAUSE DAGGER SPEC IS CRAP FOR PVE and I'm sure you'll be outputting far more DPS once you get a nice mainhand, grats mate."<---- imo that is what all rogues should be like when it comes to fury vs rogues on one handers.

AQ does not like to drop Epics at all.
We've been raiding it for a while and we've yet to see epics drop.. hell, we've seen more enchants and books drop than anything.

All this guy gives us is some random enchant ( We have a bunch of guys who have the spellpower one and the dodge one etc etc ) and an assload of skill level up books.

To me it looks more like what "the ripper" should have been like. So i think its a great alternative for the ripper. And when you get a higher damage one, put this one in offhand, if you dont have a cht yet.

Got mine last week, already had gutgore ripper with +5 dam, so I use this offhand (only 1 min damage more than GG) with +15 agil. Very nice =)

Reading the posts on this topic made me finally decide to register here. To anyone who has said or thinks that "dagger spec" is bad for pve, let's clear some things up. Seal fate and hemo are bad for pve damage. Combat daggers on the other hand is THE SINGLE BEST PVE DAMAGE BUILD for rogues. This has been proven many times over. That's my only real issue with anything that's been said. I have no issue with fury warriors taking this since it is really good for them as well. Cheers all.

Inferior to CHT imo. This has 6 more stamina, But the CHT has a higher dps, same attack power, and 1% crit. Probably from the 20 man part of AQ.

I am the first rogue in my guild to get this dagger.

When this baby dropped the other night on a guild run, I nearly tossed my keyboard in frustration when a hunter tried to roll for it. Thankfully, my guild's leadership is smart enough to use Master Loot on all boss fights, and tossed out the hunter's roll. When the hunter tried to protest that it was a good upgrade for him, the raid leader told him: "Rogues get first crack at melee daggers, just like hunters get preference on bows and guns. If none of the rogues want it, then anyone can roll for it."

After seeing that exchange, I knew I had found myself that rare, precious guild that uses common sense and fair leadership. Now, we just need more druids so we don't have to keep disenchanting the Cenarion drops in MC...

Kurinaxx is really easy and i got this dagger... had to spend a;most all my DKP on it cause of one stupid rogue that didnt want to stop bidding on it while he had less DKP :(

btw with this dagger i am now on 1st place in dmg-meters :P some time ago the only one who was the first was another rogue with the fist-weapon set from ZG

Christ what noob has put this down as a warrior and hunter dagger, what a load of chaff. Anyone who knows the game should also appreciate that rogues are the dps machines on instances (Exception of casters doing AOE) Rogues are the class who have in their talent tree dagger specialisation and depend greatly for high dps weapons to deliver high damage on backstab and other dagger specialised moves.

How would the Hunters like it if a Rogue shouted need on a epic ranged weapon that is excellent for them but usable for a rogue, rogues know that ranged weapons are for hunters that is why they place themselves second for that item. Warriors wouldn't like if a particular warrior specialised one handed sword went to a rogue but again a good rogue would know if his need outweighs a warrior. To play the game fairly you have to work out if you really NEED something and is your need and utilisation of the item more greater than another class.

This is a rogue blade and in the absence of a rogue needing it then second choices can be assigned it (Hunters or Warriors).

My guild would never allow a Hunter or Warrior to put a bid on this if a Rogue needed it, as much as they wouldn't allow a rogue first choice on range or sword weapon that is not a priority to there talents.

DPS is the key to winning or losing in any PvE, and if you cant deliver you lose.

Got this today in just a kurinaxx run before ZG. Was friekin stoked because even though our guild is not doing dkp currently for AQ, this went to me automatically without question for 2 reasons.

1)The only other rogue in raid that was a main and not an alt just got this dagger 2 days prior.
2)I am a raid leader and my commitment to the guild meant that either way it was mine(almost like a thanks for my services)

And to the moron that said dagger spec sucks in PVE, I am always on the top of our damage meters and one of our mages is decked in warlords gear and other goodies. Sometimes when he goes hard its a fight for first but I always end up on top by the end of the raid. So please tell me how you figure that dagger combat spec sucks PVE :)
