All things considered, I'd wear these over Nightslayer. First, you can put a +7 agi enchant on these, whereas on Nightslayer I would put a minor speed increase. Second, if you are wearing the belt, you get an additional 5 stamina, and the shoulders as the third (which are far better than NS) gets you 1% crit.

In the end, the comparison comes down to

7 agi + shadow resist (NS)
vs.
3 stam 16 AP 1 % crit (Defilers)

Which is an easy decision to make. If the Nightslayer Boots are your 5th piece, you will probably want to keep it for the extra energy. Otherwise, Defiler's wins.

Are you guys sure that it is 8% and where have you got that info? I mean, it seems more less and if you look att the mount enchants and adds, all of those are at 3% so why can't the speed enchant on boots and this be 3% as well?. That's what i belive, but please if you KNOW it's 8% share the information.

Blood guard boots has 1 more agil and 2 more stam, but thats nothing compare to 16AP, and the slight increase speed is better than the sprint bonus.

please can you read the other posts its been said 2 or 3 times now.
You purchase these from a VENDOR when you are Revered with the Arathi Basin Battleground.
They are by no means a drop of any kind ok.

For the Feral druids looking at these, you might want to get the lizardhide version instead. You sacrifice 4 agility for 8 intellect, it's the same deal with the shoulders, you sacrifice 6 agility for 12 intellect. Other than that though the stats are the same. The leather belt though rocks. So if you want to get the full defiler's set, i'd recommend lizard boots and shoulders and leather belt :)

Just thought I'd put this out there. Post-patch, NO PVP ITEMS REQUIRE ANY REPUTATION STATUS. Fortunately a guildie let me in on this so I didn't have to farm rep w/ AB for 3 weeks to get revered.

Just went to the AB vendors and the Defiler Leather Boots were not available (at level 38)... anyone know what's up with this?

you get AB rep by doing AB...(i know eh? who would have figured that out?) and erm you don't need rep anymore to get thease..just pvp, get honor + AB marks and BAM! boots and w/e are yours.
