I spent about half an hour farming both Western Plaguelands and Silithus. Got enough various spider silks to wrap around the entire Stormwind, and enough spider meat to feed whoever is inside... No venom sacs dropped for me in WP and only one drop in Silithus. Hard to imagine farming sufficient quantities to have an anti-venom available whenever needed.

These drop like mad from the spider looking undead, O think they are the crypt lurkers inside Strath. I got 3 last night on one run.

Using these Powerfull anti-venom 1 is a waste of 9g to get pattern 2 the effect has a 1 min cooldown so you cant use a bandage until the timer is done, and its instant and you can be poisoned again and not to mention the crap drop rate of the huge venom sacs.

The Solution is simple "Elixir of Poison Resistance" from your Reputable Alchemists, it Removes and makes you Immune to poison for 1 min and only takes 1 Large venom sac and 1 kingsblood i think to make, and the large sacs are easily farmable.

Is pretty good. I have spent a few hours on spiders, scorpids and those Naga-like things which I hate with a passion.

I got around 15 Huge Venim Sacs, I'd guess around 4-5/hour, but the mobs I hunted didn't all drop them obviously.

i farmed these stupid thing for 10 days....and i got 20! thats all is retarted drop rate...i farmed in EPL though....Can anybody tell me where's the best place to farm these..ive died over 20 time couse of posions! i need the Anti Venom

The drop rate got up slightly... still not good enough >.< I farmed mine in silithus from the scorps and got about 2-4 every half an hour.

The recipe is a bit expensive for the somewhat limited use it will get. If you belong to a medium or large guild, you should consider pooling your gold and buying one copy of the recipe. Neither the mats or the anti-venom are soulbound, so it's far more economical to have one person cranking them out for everyone. The recipe requires a first aid skill of 300 and you can't get any higher, so there's no advantage to being the one that can craft these.

Since BC release best place I've found for these is behind Stonebreaker hold in Terrokar Forest. I farm the spiders there for Netherweb Spider Silk for tailoring and get stacks of them. Naturally, since they are worthless to me.

It surely is a terrible drop rate, I just hope that the rate will rise now that ZG will open in 1.7, though I do wonder if it can cure some of the nature magic in there.

This item was most likely added to the loot table with the 1.6 patch. Having so many previous kills with 0% chance of drop will make this item appear to have a very small chance to drop. Probably not the case though.

The algorithm for calculating drop percents would be more accurate, perhaps, by taking the kills before and after the item was first reported.

((# drops) / ( # kills - # prior kills)) * 100

*Gasp* I'm crying over my keyboard, I had no idea these were this valuable... since they seem to be VERY COMMON... I can't even imagine how much I have lost by selling these to vendors...

Farming for ironweb silk in wester plaguelands, I only found ONE sac by the time I found 10 ironweb, 20 shadow silk and 20 thick spider silk. That's terrible.

Currently drops in Classic but has no use til Phase 3 when 配方：強效抗毒藥劑 is added.
