At 60,72 in Ashenvale there is a moonwell guarded by absolutely nothing. The path to it has a couple of animals on it, but that's it. No guards. Perfect for horde tailors.

60,72 is due south of Reynewood retreat for those of you who can't be bothered to get a mod with coords.. you really should.. nuff said.

In Ashenvale, go to (60,72) its south of the main road just after you pass the bridge over the Falfarren river. There are no gaurds to speak of only lvl 23-25 wolves and anyone who can make mooncloth need not worry about them :)

i didnt see it mentioned but around 61,72 in ashenvale is a small moonwell guarded by lvl 35ish wolves... i have never done mooncloth so i dont know if that one is ok for making it. but if you are a druid you can go to moonglade, or if you are high enough to have gotten through the tunnels to the flight path, or if you got the flight path during the new years festival you can get up there when you get the flight path to bloodvenom without getting the faction first, maybe after the expansion maybe the blood elf city of silvermoon will have them in it or some lower lvl small villages , also if you are high enough lvl you can go the to moonwell in silithus in cenarian hold.

Don't forget about one of the best moonwell's in Azeroth - in Silithus neutral town Cenarion Hold. With all features - heartstone, flypoint.

I only know of one Horde-accessable Moonwell, in Ashenvale. Are there others that are easy to get to?

What about Alliance-accessable? I'd presume there's a lot more, likely in the Nightelf cities... Do they work for the item's creation?

there is a 2 day cool down on this. One piece takes 48 hours, so no one will be cranking out any moonweave bags.

The easiest to access moonwell -for Alliance- is in Stormwind, at the Park.

Moon cloth bags will only take 1 mooncloth as of 1.10.

For non-Classic players:
For those wanting to learn how to make Mooncloth, you can go buy the pattern from Qia a female goblin in Winterspring for 2 gold, so don't buy it on the AH those that sell it on the AH price it up to one or two thousand gold to those who can't find it or get it due to the lack of the quest not being found for it now. Anyways this was Blizzard's solution to the loss of the quest for learning it. The pattern can be gotten at any time it's not rare or limited.
