I'm not all that well versed in Warcraft yet but this wand only offers +9 arcane resistance...That doesn't seem all that great concidering the high instance raids really depend strongly on Shadow resistance for Scholomance and Stratholme and Fire resistance for MC etc.... It doesn't add anything to intellect or Spirit. It does some damage I give it that but it seems more like a nice prize than anything else. Thats my two cents worth

i got mine off of a troll in that city that u have to get the mallet of Zul' Farrak from, then a lvl 50 mage ninja looted it, the wand he had on was better, he said it was for his alt, then i found it in the ah, Valim, if you r reading this, u can burn in hell

meh i got this for 29g on skywall now when i see ppl getting this for 8g i feel completely ripped off... but then its a nice upgrade from greater mystic wand... LOCKS FTW! ^_^ >_<

Bought mine today for 20g off the AH

This will be a Nice upgrade since i am still using the wand from the Argent Dawn quest in Darnassus for BFD. And will still be using it until i get to level 45, so i can use this sucker.

As far as thottbot's data mining knows, this is the only wand with arcane resistance. Even with the expansion. I don't know if there's any fights that require arcane resist gear, but this is +9 on an item you only use for it's stats in a raid environment anyways. Perhaps a soul-linked warlock tank can use this at some point?

Otherwise, it's just a crap boe blue. Go scrub your way through like 2 AV wins at lvl 51 and get the wand of biting cold, it's 64 dps.

i got this off a wolf in AV... yes a horde wolf dropped this wand, and i am an undead warlock.... wolf isnt even listed here lol.... its a nice free 30G for sitting in AV getting rep and having fun though!
