1 of 3 blue back items its level with intel and spell damage. I searched for blues around its level, got 15, put in a requirement of intel (not even any AMOUNT of intel) and got this and https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=10843. Switch from required level to item level, and I got https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=19121 too. Unfortunately I'm alliance so it's either this (for my mage) or the Featherskin Cape (more for priests).

why nobody said something about this drop. I think it's really nice for its itemlevel,you can farm it with two people and its a alternative of using Saphirons Drape if it doesn't drop for your guild/you don't have the DKP.

It dropped of Houndmaster Grebmar for us, not the Interrogator.

Yep, this drops off of houndmaster. I learned the hard way after farming the interrogator for about a month and never seeing it drop (30%?).

Killed the houndmaster and got it first try. Houndmaster is easy to duo with a pally. Three-manning with a DPS caster, warrior, healer is absoultely a breeze. Can do it in about 10-15 min.

I can�t really guess the droprate, when I saw a mage wearing it, I immediately went to BRD to farm it. Got on the first run, which doesn�t mean its droprate is high... it�s pure luck.
You can do it with another player, since all you have to kill is 2 dozens of dogs: the pats on the way and 1 pack of them at Grebmar�s room.
The corridor which leads to the room is full of mobs, but if you are both lvl60, you can go without agroing anything. You will find a group at the left side of the corridor with 2 dwarves and an elemental, kill them and have it as a safe spot to kill the wandering rock elemental, you need it dead to continue the walk.
When you reach a part with 4 guys at each side of the corridor and don�t feel like fighting them, have a hunter running to them, and you go right behind. If you didn�t enter combat, go to a safe spot and let the hunter FD. Then you will find another group of 4 guys in the middle of the corridor, just do the same thing. The entrance of Grebmar�s room is a safe spot.

I ran BRD last night, great run, but i was a little baffled that a pally needed this while i was the only caster in group. I won, so i just put it in the past. I don't think he was trying to ninja, he might have just wanted a newer cape, but hey, its mine now, so no worries.

Ever thought about this on a priest? since priests need to heal alot but they cant get lvls only by healing and 2 priests need spirit to fuel mana regen and they heal and when they solo they mostly use spells too since wand dps cant kill mobs

for whoever says that they have no idea how a priest works...yes they benefit from +healing however we do need damage for questing/grinding/pvp. Also for the remark that only a shadow priest would need this not true....in fact if one were a holy priest one would want the + damage more than anyone due to the fact that u have decreased DPS.

Note: Decided id finally set this straight about holy priests. most consider holy priests to have no use dps and can only heal. this is a common misconception due to the fact that over 15 points in holy spec are for dps. you can increase ur holy spell damage by15%, decrease its cast time, get a holy aoe spell that heals and does damage, as well as increasing range and crit hit chnace of ur holy spells. case and point im holy spec and was dpsing princess while a 55 holy pally was healing. i drew aggro from tank..felgurad...and hunter pet on the big rock guys there cause i was doing so much damage and on the damage calc i was second after the hunter :).

In SoD, High Interrogator Gerstahn drops Spritecaster Cape
and Blackveil Cape drops by Houndmaster Grebmar

the two appear to have been swapped
