This is something that every druid that plans to be a serious-raider should have.

This spell buff's the target's whole party, just like its predecessors, GotW's I and II. It also lasts an hour, compared to MotW's 30 minutes. Its reagents are available at any reagent vendor.

From what I can tell, it does not scale down like mark of the wild does, meaning that if you have someone in your party that is under level 60, they get no buff from it, where as mark of the wild will automatically scale the rank down to the appropriate rank for target's level. Blizz should fix this so GotW works the same as MotW for scaling down ranks for lower level party members.

the new patch means that gift of the wild is taught by trainers.

IT seems to me the only advantage this has over casting MotW on all party members is that it would use less mana if you're in a 5 person party. The fact that it requires a reagant kind of dampens it. Especially considering my MotW rank 6 is the exact same as GotW rank 1 since I spent talent points to improve both.

I did buy it in AH for 2g so it wasn't too much but considering the Wild Berries cost 6s+ each, which is a required reagant, it really puts me off from using it.

Its a drop called Book: Gift of the Wild. I bought it for 10g on the auction house so don't know where it drops.

To learn, you must be lvl 50. just right click and voila.

At level 60 using Mark of the Wild (or the equivalent to Gift of the Wild) with 5/5 Improved Mark of the Wild you get approximately:
100 extra armor, 4 to all attributes, and 7 to all resistances.
