Hearthhead's Midweek Meta Review #4 - Put Me In The Zoo
It’s time for another Midweek Meta Review here at Hearthhead! In a shocking twist of events, this week’s report is
not
the same as the past four! With the highly publicized success of a number of more control-oriented decks both by top ladder players (as highlighted by Blizzard themselves), as well as in the tournament environment during the regional Championships, we’ve seen some subtle shifts starting to occur - likely the last meaningful ones we’ll get to enjoy before Whispers of the Old Gods and Standard arrive in late April.

Lady Liadrin Now Available
Hearthstone's newest hero is now live! Players can earn Lady Liadrin by reaching level 20 on a World of Warcraft character associated with the same account.
Note that while the World of Warcraft Achievement will not be rewarded retroactively, anyone who leveled a character to level 20 after 11 a.m. PST on March 11 will be eligible to receive Lady Liadrin.
Daxxari has made some clarifications on how to option Lady Liadrin.
Daxxari
As long as your WoW account and Hearthstone account are on the same battle.net account, you should be able to unlock Liadrin. This should not be region-sensitive.
Daxxari
There are currently no plans for an option to purchase Liadrin. You can only unlock her with the promotion.

Midweek Meta Review #0: Welcome to the Prologue
Welcome to the prologue, as it were, for Hearthhead’s new meta report! We’re aiming to release an update every other week with a review of what you can expect to see on the ladder. More importantly - and unique to Hearthhead - we’re going to focus on why you’re seeing what you’re seeing, by trying to narrow in on the metagame’s rock-paper-scissors type cycles.
Before we dig into the format and what you can expect in future meta reports, in keeping with the theory behind this report’s inception, we’re going to answer a simple question - why do you care about a meta report?
