Senior Audio Director and Lead Composer Russell "Hordeland" Brower wrote a Facebook post explaining his departure from Blizzard. While he may continue to work for Blizzard as a freelancer composer, his current position has been eliminated thanks to a "sound de-centralization" initiative.
You've heard his music all throughout Warcraft; he composed the main themes you hear on the login screen, as well as many of the notable zone themes.

Blizzard Reveals Upcoming Convention and Gear Shop Merchandise Premiering at SDCC
Blizzard has revealed new convention merchandise via a Facebook stream today! While many items focus on the Overwatch universe, there are some interesting WoW products like the gigantic cute Arthas statue.
To avoid disappointment among fans, Blizzard has stopped creating SDCC-only merchandise. Instead, certain rare collectibles will debut at SDCC 2017 but will later be available at other conventions or retailers!

Patch 7.2.5 Hotfixes for June 27, Upcoming PvP Tuning
Blizzard has published a list of more hotfixes that includes changes to classes, certain trinkets and encounters in the

More Hotfixes have been announced for June 26 including bug fixes to a couple Tomb of Sargeras raid encounters and Siege of Orgrimmar heirloom weapons.
(eg. Completing your first Legion Heroic dungeon each day will now award you with 5 Writhing Essences, if you're eligible.)

Blizzcon Tickets Round 3 - July 5, 7:00 p.m. PT
In previous years, after the second round of Blizzcon Tickets were sold out, anyone hopeful to get a Blizzcon ticket would have to turn to
LFBlizzcon
or hope friends/guildmates had received extra tickets. This year Blizzard has announced the BlizzCon will be expanding in a new hall in the Anaheim Convention Center which allows for a third wave of tickets.
If you're still looking for a ticket, this third wave will be sold on Wednesday, July 5 at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time. on Universe.com.
