Only certain classes can kite him. I'm listing classes with dots to kite him with but im sure there are other soloing methods. and instant casts as NeoTMS said above

warlock-- has a good chance because they have 3 or so dots and a voidwalker to sacrifice if they are gonna die, healthstones, and the voidwalker can taunt the boss if he gets to close.

rogue-- can't really kite him because they don't have dots and their ranged attack wouldn't do very well. Melee only, no instants

warriors-- same as rogue.

druid-- has moonfire but thats not much. no instants

mage-- has no working dots against him since he is immune to fire and fireball and pyroblast are fire spells and the only mage dots. only instant is fire

hunter-- can do it as well, and im not sure but a beast mastery (talent tree) hunter might be able to do it as long as they kept their pet alive. instant attack, arcane shot and as of 2.0.1 multi-shot is instant i believe (dont quote me, please)

priest-- like druids, only one dot. instant-- mind flay (must have 11 points into shadow for this)

paladin-- no dots instants-- judgment of righteousness or judgment of command (11 points into retribution for judgement of command)

shaman-- one dot, but its fire, which he is immune to instants- earth shock and frost shock, and natures swiftness and chain lightning (natures swiftness requires 21 points into restoration)

if i missed any (which i think i might have) dont hesitate to correct me.

Ahh yes, U forgot about insect swarm. But that's 11 points into resto. does very little dmg, like 250 base. Must have taken a while

He is easily kited by a frost mage. Use ice barrier and fire ward, just run on the ledge that circles the room, cast a frostbolt from time to time and just wear him down.

He has a curse that will lower your fire resistance by 100, but as mages can decurse it does not pose any threat. The only thing that ever messes up a run is when he uses a special move to kick you around. This move can kick you into the lava below.

If that happens, you can grind the elementals down there for essence of fire and other stuff. Basically you can get all the way to the BRD forge and smelt dark iron if you are a miner. Just make sure you use ice barrier, fire ward and blink when swimming in the lava.

I solo kill Incedius all the time by myself as a druid and it has made me some good money since I have gotten lucky with 3 ace of elemental drops.

What you want to do is stealth to him then dot him up as you run around kiting him around his room. Don't worry about aggroing the other adds unless you are under lvl 60. Patience is good and just keep running throwing the rejuvination on yourself when needed.

If you are doing an Empoeror run or a Bar run, keep in mind that right outside of the exit to the bar, you can jump down and engage Incendius. This is typically a good way to end a run, since he almost always drops a pair of bracers that make good Molton Core starting equipment. Also, being an elemental, he has the chance to drop Core of Elements, which is a plus to anyone trying to gain Argent Dawn reputation.

You can reach him solo at level 60 without much problem if you have the forge key. Enter the instance, open the door to the left and go through the next two doors to the room with the level to open the larget gate. Go up the stairs and then left and then use whatever immunity/stealth/evasion techniques your class has to make it past the mobs to the window. You can then jump out the window. With the gate closed the mobs will not be able to reach you. Jump out the window onto the rock and hop down the bridge. You can then walk right to him. The only mobs you should agro would be the last pair of fire guards before you reach him.

I was grinding him for Ace of Elementals and it dropped on my second run, solo'ed as a 63 shaman, I finished my elemantals deck and was very happy and 10 minutes later I sold it for 200g :D Main thing about this guy is to put heavy damage on him and perodically throw in a heal or pot.

this guy is 56+ fire elemental a miniboss guarding the black forge. He has a fireball for 500 and a knockback and some AOE, but easily soloable as a 60 paladin. (I just soloed him without potions, loh, or any 5-min cooldown shields)

Enter BRD, turn left and go through locked gate. Continue running straight past the fire mob into that hallway that leads to the big steel gates.

Follow that hallway right, past the gates, keep straight past the fireguards, you'll see Lord Incendius standing in the middle of a bridge over a lava pit.

Tip: keep your back in line with the bridge, Incendius sometimes does a knockback.

When i entered BRD i went through the locked door to the left...then the locked door to the right of that...then the one to the left again to enter into the East Garrison. From there, go upstairs and there is a hallway leading down the left side. Go down the hallway and at the end of the hallway, when it turns to the left, jump out the window. From there proceed past a series of fire elementals (you'll probably have to fight a few) and there is Lord Incendius.

The hallway is filled with groups of 2-3 mobs and a random wandering fire elemental. As a warlock i just sacrificed my voidwalker and ran through and out the window.

ok as a 60 paladin (with the shadowforge key). take your first left through the locked gate. then the next right through the next locked gate (run past/fight fire guard). then take the next left through the locked door into the east garrison. walk up the ramp/stairs and take the left path that goes by a bunch of dark irons. when you run down that hallway you will see a small window on your right with one dark iron in front of it. jump out of that onto a ledge, then jump down onto the highway. take a right into the tunnel lookin place. you will have to fight the two fire guards at the end before incendius if you dont have stealth/invis potion. as a pally with 124 fire resist (including aura) hes somewhat of a challege. FR is always nice, but being able to take dmg/heal helps out a lot. get naked, jump in lava, rinse and repeat.

I've been farming Plugger since 56, and started Incendius at 58 for shards... and hoping for a good random modifier on the leather bracers (only getting plate or cloth so far =\).

I don't have any uber gear by far (mostly blues and greens with 0 FR), but it's quite doable if you get lucky at 58. My build used to be 20/31/0 (Sword Specialization with Thrash Blade), and it's quite easy:

Open Ambush (sucky without talents, but he's immune to CS, Garrote, etc. so why not), 5pt Expose Armor, Adrenaline Rush, Blade Flurry, Evasion, SS to 3pt Slice and Dice, SS to 5pt Evisc, AR should end before your next 5pt so take Thistle Tea, SS + Evisc. Take Tubers, Night Dragon's, and Major Healing Potion as needed. Unforunately with this build, you're relying on heavy crits since you don't have CB, but I've found that I only fail 1 in 3 times at 58.

Now that I'm 60, I've switched to 21/8/22 and I find it slightly tougher than with my combat spec. Ambush opener with a Barman Shanker goes for ~1k, then switching to Thrash after opener... But I just pulled one off barely (mostly because of the 2x 5pt CB+Evisc for 2.1k dmg each). So even with the risks of a dodged CB+Evisc, I'm guessing it's still doable with this build, especially with better gear than I currently have.

Considering that LBS's sell for 9-10g on my server (yeah, newer server), it's still profitable even after the cost of pots.

Very easy. In and out of the instance in 10 minutes. I am specced 7/0/44. I open in cat form, getting a 5-point Rip. Then I go to caster form, and cast Regrowth and Rejuve. I nuke for a bit, then go bear form to let my mana regen. Then I go back to caster form, heal and nuke, and he goes down. Simple. I usually don't even have to use "I win" buttons like Innervate or Nature's Swiftness. My FR is 150.

I a lvl 60 fury Warrior soloed him and even had 1000hp left.
used Healing and Fire pot and a Gnomeish Cloacking to get to him and Kill him now im farming him for Ace.

I can do it pretty much everytime, using only 84 FR, a Tuber, and sometimes a Heal Pot, depending on how my crits land. Furthermore, I only have about 3400 hp with my FR gear on right now (just started gathering it). Also, my Ap is only about 510. It is not always easy, but I have not died yet since I got to this set-up. Since I only plan on getting better stats, this should continue to be a good place to farm. I only wish I was an enchanter. : )

Oh ya, I also use Spider Sausage and Grilled Squid sometimes. So, it is not always easy, but it is definitely possible for a rogue.

77 Runs so far. No lies. Still hasn't dropped. Going to do it a few more times then call it quits. Whoever got it from Lord Incendius, your lucky.

Edit: 77 times, not gonna quit now. This is some BS though.

Edit: 95 Runs. I dont think Lord Incendius drops the Ace. I dont care what people said above. There must have been a patch.

Edit: 100 Runs. No drop. Bought it from some guy for 250Gold with all the money I made off Large Brilliant Shards farming this s.o.b.

84 runs and nothing huh? Well if anyone was expecting to get it after 4 runs or something then maybe they should work out what a 1.4% chance actually means:

100 / 1.4 = 71.4 runs average.

Thats 70 or so runs on AVERAGE people... that means at your 70th run you have a 50% chance that it will have dropped... there is no guarantee that you will get it on your 70th run... indeed after 140 runs the odds are only at around 75% that you will have seen it drop; 280 times and the chances are 87.5% and so on. Obviously every time you run and dont get it after 70 runs the odds of you not getting it get less and less likely but still... it will always only be a 1.4% chance.

Only the people that have been very lucky have posted because they want to boast or are very excited that they got it the first time out or have seen it 3 times in 20 runs or whatever.

If there are any actual math grads out there that want to shoot me down then point out the flaws, but I think its pretty basic.

Myself (60 druid) and my friend (60 rogue) farm incendius for the card, and the even smaller chance of finding leather versions of the bracers with +25 FR. Yes, there is a mod "of fire resistance", but its rare as hell, only seen one and it was mail, neither of us could use. I'd estimate we've done around 150 runs, maybe even less, and have found 3 cards so far, also, if you've been reading the new 1.9 patch notes the Ace drop rates have been increased....

131 FR, SM/Ruin build. With my FR gear on (all greens/blues except for Felheart Gloves) my HP drops drastically, so I had to pop a healthstone on incendius. But with basic FR he goes down easy. I use my VW to tank him for a bit while I pile on the dots, then sac him when he's about to die and spam SB's for the win. After he's done do a quick reset and back in again. All in all, less than ten minutes per run (five if you're quick) and almost always a large brilliant shard unless he drops Incendic Bracers.

This boss is easy as shadowpriest.

I have made around 100g on shards, never had nexus, never had ace.

Anyways, 2 things i'd like to say here

first is that, any class can do this, whenever u jump out of the window, you get out of combat regardless of how many u pulled and who you pulled. It has no matter! After 1-2 min, your automaticly out of combat

2ndly, after just 5 runs i get the message (average run take 8-10 mins) "you have been doing too many instances lately"... whats up with that? anyone knows?

Solo'd him as a 60 fury warrior with zero fire res, used a major health pot and deathwish. Did have sta buff and had used a mongoose elixir. No epics except the lobotomizer.

It was a very close call, but if i'd have any FR gear or a fire prot pot it would've been cake, <3 400 dps :P

I just turned 60 as a rogue thought I'd attempt... I have like lvl 50 daggers and mostly all green gear.... about 70 Fire rez..

Went to IF and got Fort buff from Priest and Mark of the Wild from Druid so I had over 4k health and 91 Fire rez...

Used to Fire rez postions....

Method: Attacked and got 5 points then Vanished, Used a Greater Fire Pot and waited for cooldown, Ambushed, 5 point Break armour, Evasion, Preperation, Evasion, (meanwhile using Sinister Strike all this time), Then the other greater fire pot, then just Sinister Striker and 5 point Evis all the way and did it!.... I was about half health down when I killed him, had there been 5 more seconds i wouldve died as pot ran out... but I killed him..

Got a crappy Mail armour with Fire Rez... pity its BOP this is a Enchanters Unlimited Supple to Brilliant Shards

Recieved a buff in 1.10. He now has more HP, higher DPS, and casts a (stackable) curse that reduces fire resistance by 100.

Im a destruction lock, with 68 fire res, 4 epic clothes. I aggro Felhunter on him, then send 1 shadowbolt, corruption and curse of agony. He will then aggro on me, so I start running around the circle, and reapply corruption and coa as needed. Felhunter will run behind him and bite him in his ass :)

Just keep running around until he dies.. My first run on him I didnt use any healing (75% health), but second run I had to use a major healthstone, but that was my own fault for stopping too long...

I see people saying he's easily soloable but most of those comments were months ago. He has a nasty knockback that can knock you right off his platform into the lava so you have to pull him to a safe area where he can't use it against you. (Me and a rogue just cleared the elementals in the hall leading up to him.) He also has a curse that lowers your FR by 100 so if you can't decurse you're screwed (which also makes it very difficult for druids since we can't decurse in bear form). So to my fellow druids I would just recommend taking a rogue with you. And then he's a lootbag.

Before I took a rogue with me I was trying to solo him with 183 FR buffed and it just wasn't happening. His curse makes FR meaningless.

The fight against Incendius is a joke, I never even get hit once. Its getting there that gets to me. You see, without stealth I am lefta bit gimped. The first group on the Dark Iron Highway tends to notice me alot.. The first time I did this it was 2 easy. Second I wiped once. Third.. I wiped -5- times. Same spot, every time. So my question is; What route do you guys take?

I go in through the locked door to the left, avoid fire elemental and sneak by the group into the dark iron highway. But it seems that its a slot machine wether or not I get detected by the group. Any tips appreciated -.-

He's cake if you can DoT and heal yourself. Did it as a holy priest, pretty much the same as the mage above. Holy fire, SW:Pain, pull him down the hallway, run around him, then the rest is the same. run on the outer circle, and keep Shield up and SW:Pain on him, if he hits you just use renew so you can keep running. Take a few shots if you get enought distance, but basically DoT him and kite till he dies.

This is so easy to farm and if you are a Lock who is an enchanter even better. 10mins from entering instance to loot, you could go even faster if I focused lol.

Go left through locked door avoid the patroling fire element, then right another locked door, then left again (another locked door), pop out your voidy noew, avoid the fire element or banish then up the slope. Send vw into group on right of corridor entrance then group on the left. Go left and down the corridor, hug the left side of the corridor and sacrifice vw as guys come for you or BEFORE he dies from other group. Jump through the window at the end. Then drop down and head for the fire elementals avoid the pat in the middle and hug right edge. Now head straight down the middle. You can skip all these apart from the last closest to Incendious. Send vw to attack fire guard on left and curse of doom and banish lvl 2 the right guard. Kill the left guard and pop banish lvl 1 on the right guard just as first banish finsises. Then down the right guard.

I slap my fire res gear and get my felhunter out now. Now simply dot and run around the edge of the room DONT STOP, cast your instant shadowbolts when they proc. Best to use keybindings here btw.

Easy as pie to solo as a druid even after 1.10. I've killed him well over 20 times now as it's a pretty decent money maker (1 LB shard per 7 minute run). I'm 0/30/21 spec using 314 FR (motw buff only). Open with ravage/FB, then rejuv and pop into bear form. faerie fire, demo shout should be on at all times. only shift out when at 30% health or so, HT yourself, throw on a rejuv and repeat with bearform. He'll be down in about 4 minutes. Innervate isn't necessary either. I've only had to use it once.

With over 300 FR, you'll be resisting his -FR curse about 90% of the time. When he does happen to start stacking it on you (which is rare), stay into bear until you're around 50%, then shift back out to heal, decurse, and rejuv yourself.

I just soloed him today. Patch 1.12.1 with my 60 Warlock (30/0/21). He hit me only twice and both times were fully resisted. I have ZERO fire resist. I have all blues except for one ZG epic from the class quests. Nothing fancy. About 120 +damage for spells. Do as the above states and go through all three locked doors, avoid the fire elementals and send your void walker ahead of you to aggro. Right before he dies, Sacrifice him and jump out the window. Run down the hallway and kill the last two elementals. Simply send your Void Walker in on one elemental while you Curse of Doom and Banish (rank 2) the other. DOT the first elemental up and as soon as Banish drops, then cast Banish (rank 1) on the other. This way, the Curse of Doom will go off right after the Banish ends. Proceed to destroy the elemental.

For Incendius, all I did was send my Void Walker in and put Curse of Doom, Corruption, and Siphon Life on Incendius. I cast one Shadowbolt and then Sacrificed my Void Walker and began running around the outside ring. Incendius is slow, and often times I would get out of range. I refreshed the DOTs when they ran out and cast an instant Shadowbolt whenever Nightfall procced. I've killed him 4 times this way and never been lower than 80% health, even on my worst attempt.

This is with:
ZERO Fire Resist
NO potions
Average blue gear
No buffs other than Demon Armor
No outside help
Shadow Master/Ruin

The entire run, from the time I enter the portal to the time I loot Incendius is about 8 minutes.

I solo him all the time now as a 60 holy pally, currently 33/0/18

If you understand how FR works, then you know you need have 275FR but its useless to have more. So with FR aura a +20 DI helm and blues/greens its easy to do. He has the evil curse that gives you -100FR and that sucks bad if it hits (but luckily while you have 275FR you resist it 90% of the time he tries)
Restorative Potion Can be a key to saving you from the curse, although as a pally I just bubble the first time he actually hits with it, and that removes it, and its very rare he applies it more then once a fight. He is so slow you can also just run back and forth along the hall regenerating mana and wait for its 1 min duration to wear off. Also easy to go on and make it to the Black Forge, but its quite a shame to vendor the bracers he drops So I like to do escorts for other people to help them get a nice FR bracer.

I've been farming incendious for a couple weeks now, must have killed him 50+ times looking for the Ace of elementals with no luck.

I know its a rare drop but is my luck really bad or does this not drop off incendious anymore (post wow 2.0)? Has anyone gotten this off incendious recently?

Solo'ed as 63 Assassination Rogue, however, not the easiest of fights.

He's pretty easy to get to as others have said, but unless you have 200+ FR, don't bother using it (bring your normal gear). He'll quickly decrease your fire resistance by 100 and it will keep on stacking.

Opened with Ambush (as a last resort) and SS to a 5 point Expose Armor. A couple of crits later, 4-5 point Slice and Dice, used +Attack Power trinket from Outlands quest, and a 5 point Eviscerate with Cold Blood. Popped Evasion and kept hitting away until he was down. I managed to use two Greater Fire Protection pots during the fight, one before starting and one when I got down to 25% health.

Not worth the drop rate for the Ace, IMO.

I can solo him using one Fire protection pot and he is lucky if he kicks me more than twice, i always have my back to the corridor behind him and i stealth to him, piece of cake, so far he's dropped eye of flame, ace of elementals, some blue bracers and a lot of green bracers for me. he only kills me maybe 1 in 10 goes and thats if im unlucky (almost always <1000 hp when the fight is over)

play a rogue before you start saying what they can and cant do ok...

Did him today, just after reaching lvl 60. Green/blue gear, still affliction spec since leveling (i.e. I don;t have ruin, DS or SL or anything like that). Got him down first try, although I cleared the adds first.

Well I switched from Holy to Prot pal today and now I can't solo incendius without a fire pot. I did not realize how much my holy spec made a difference. I can still solo the fire elementals there but not him.

For a druid with decent fire resistance he is fairly simple to solo. Just go through the tavern jump down , and position yourself with your back to the anvil.

Yes, there is a version of the bracers with an additional 15 FR, sadly the one myself (60 druid) and my friend (60 rogue) found while farming him was mail, and had to be dis-enchanted. Found 3 Ace's so far though, nice to sell them for 200g each everytime, keeps us coming back for more, and maybe another 25 FR bracer, hopefully leather next time :P

Since 1.10 he has received a buff, alot harder than he was but he is still doable (druid at least). Doing him wih 187 fire res, the only way i can reliable kill him every time is to stay in caster and keep moonfire/insect swarm/rejuvenation up at all time, while meleeing him (omen of clarity would help). I always run short on mana when shifing in and out of cat alot more than usual because of the curse. But doing it that way i can successfully kill him 100%.

Changes in 1.10

-Increased HP
-Increased DPS
-Now casts a (decursable) curse called "Curse of the Elemental Lord" which lowers fire resistance by 100, staying in cat form and not dispelling this makes alot of difference to how much you ned to shift and heal anyway.
-Casts multiple fire storms. If you move out of range of his current fire storm, he will simply lay another. Which he did not do before.
-Fire storm damage increased

So, what of this 1.10 buff... once a pansy, always a pansy.

Rekgar- 60 Tauren Druid- Blackhand. Took him down, although it took me two attempts. It seems that the buff he was given is twofold.
1) His DPS appears to have been increased, not ridiculously though (His health may have also been increased. I am unsure at this time)
2) He has a debuff that he periodically casts called 'Curse of the Elemental Lord.' It reduces one's fire resistance by 100 per stack of the debuff. This is what truly makes the fight hard.

Therefore, to survive the encounter, one must do one of three things. 1) Get lucky and resist the debuff throughout the fight. 2) Have an item handy that clears a curse (I'm not even sure if one exists) 3. Be a mage or druid and be able to clear said curse (Yes, it can be removed like a normal curse)...

Hope this helps in your future soloing attmepts.

Just soloed in current patch (1.10) as a Priest. Didn't use any special potions or anything. Also didn't go all-out FR because of the curse etc. Ended up with ~50% hp and 5% mana when he died. Someone was asking for the way, when I enter the instance, I turn left, open the door with key, kill one dog, then walk and kill 2x those fire elementals, rest and go. My spec is raiding spec atm, 21 disc/30 holy.

Didn't need the bracers, just did it for fun :)

You don't need fire pot to solo this guy with good equip, and you just need to position yourself so that he doesn't kick you in lava when he does.. very easy, killable both with high dmg gear and high fire resist gear, although the hits can be very nasty and more random without fire res gear, links under for a video of this.

soloed him today pretty easy even for a hunter im lvl 59 atm and with almost no fire res at all dropped a Emberplate Armguards of Fire Resistance (plate) if i was warrior this bracers would be great...

I used 2 fire res pots, 1 devine shield, 1 lay of hands and 4.3k mana used and i killed him (he is sooo much harder).
Btw i got blue bracers from him... 10fire res, 10agil, 10 spirit. (shard!).

Got a very nice drop off him. Flameweave Cuffs of Fire Resistance. So that's +25 FR on just bracers.

Done as an afterthought too, looking for the Ace of Elementals for a mate :)

Patch 1.10 they buffed him, i used to solo this guy very easily now they have made him alot harder i got to about 25% and died... gonna go back and kill him but going to use a Fire Res pot this time.
I believe he has a new curse which -100 Fire Resistance which makes him annoying and harder, plus he must have more hit points.

Sorry I see what you are saying. That is very expensive to kill him a lot. With a rogue's DPS you can take him down a lot faster than I can. I clear every fire elemental I can every run trying to get essecne of fire.

That stinks I have been killing him over and over and all he drops is blue and green bracers. I want the ace of elementals. I think I have killed him like 30 times.

Screw soloing. As a resto druid, myself and a rogue buddy have this guy down to a 6 minute round triper.
We kill one dog on the way in, and him. reset instance, rince, repeat. plus I'm not a disenchanter, but the 2 rogues that I 2 amn this with both are :)

If your guild is attempting to mass up FR for Ragnaros, I highly suggest you get to farming Incendius.

I kill solo this guy with my rogue about 10 times a day to get the bracers for my guildies. Getting them in the loot table is simple too. Just have a 5 man (or 10 man or whatever, it all works) and have everyone zone into the instance. Having a warlock in the group makes this a lot easier because he cant give you a major HS every reset.

As long as group loot is enabled and the party members are in the instance, they will show up on the loot table, so when something of their armor type drops, they can get it.

I STRONGLY suggest and guild attempting to get FR for the Ragnaros fight do this.

When I soloed Incendius in the past, I had Preparation spec with cold blood.

It's very doable with sword spec as well, as i can do it very easily since i switched

When i fight him i have 170-219 FR unbuffed. It's pretty darned difficult for a rogue to do this with weak FR, as over the course of 1 minute he deals 9000 damage.

It's fun to solo for the challenge, but I did it about 50 times with a druid before I decided to try to solo him.

Im going to try solo farming him with about 80fr on because i dont wanna nerf my attack power lol.

Ive allready got the bracers just that his loot may be profitable and quick to do

I don't know what this guy is talking about. There is no way a rogue can solo this guy. For starters if you don't clear the room b4 him you have to fight him near the anvil. He will kick your butt in the lava every time.

I am a 60 pal with 240 fire res. I can solo him but I have to heal a bunch of times and I have to clear the room b4 him. This guy can hit real hard. He does mostly fire damage but every once in a while he does non fire damage for about 400 and crits rarely for 1000. A rogue may be albe to kill him with some pots but it would be hard to kill him without being kicked into the lava.

I have killed him about 15 times now and he mostly drops green cloth bracers with fire res. That is his thing he is the fire res bracer guy. He drops Cloth, Leather, Mail, and Plate bracers each with fire res and the normal rnadom enchnats (ie monkey, boar, bear etc).

He droped Cinderhide Armsplints of the Monkey for me once. (71 arm +10 fire res, 10 agil 10 sta) I am wearing those with +9 sta. They are leather but when you are fighting fire things armor really does not come into play.

Well - im not into soloing anything, but could any one tell me the easiest way to him. I remember a long time ago we were jumping around in lava nearly from start to MC entrance - that was very wierd, but maby there are a way with lesser mobs to this firy elemental?

if you're a 60 rogue looking to use the black anvil or maybe just farm some good FR bracers for MC and you were wondering if you could solo this guy, you can. I would strongly recommend you take another rogue or druid, but it is soloable if you're desperate.

he's very tough, much harder than plugger and a fairly harder than Hearthsinger Forresten in strat. until you've done him once or twice and know your limit on him, I strongly suggest you bring a fire protection potion, some buffs (greater agility potion, firewater, whatever you want) and some thistle tea, especially if you don't have MC gear yet.

there are two easy ways to reach him, and they both take about the same amount of time. I'll go over the less risky way:

from when you first enter BRD, go left and pick the 3 doors like you were on your way to the bar. however, to save yourself some headache, don't open the big shadowforge lock. leaving it untouched makes it FAR easier to get out once you're done.

after the third lock, go up the stairs and take the left tunnel like a normal barman shanker run. but when you come to the spot that's blocked off because you didn't use the shadowforge lock, turn right and jump out of the window onto some rocks, then jump down to the bridge below. you should be able to see lord incendius from here, he's just across the bridge and down the short hall filled with fire elementals. once you're done with him, go back the way you came, across the bridge, and follow the dark iron highway until you can take your first left. now you're back at the beginning

I've done this fight with both my FR gear and my normal set of attack power/stam gear, and it was far easier with fire resist gear (I have about 135ish FR). blazing emblem helps a ton if you have it.

he's immune to cheapshot, so I never tried kidney shot or gouge, he's likely immune. you can't kick to interrupt his spellcasting either.

I been trying 2 figure out how 2 solo this guy but so far no luck any holy paladins that triede him out? And how do u get 2 him? i at the moment seem 2 need 2 , would love some tips on how u guys thats been doing it along time does it =)

I tried to solo as a MM hunter with nothing but the rank 10 pvp set, wasn't possible, although I got him to 60%.

I have a lot more FR now, and 4/8 Giantstalkers, so I could give it a try, but I'm waiting for 1 more piece of Giantstalkers so the pets resistance will go through the roof (FR ~180 now - will be 220+ after my next piece).

I think the improved mend pet talent would be vital to have, if it removes the curse that incendius drops.

Nice thing about a hunter pet is it can't be knocked back.

In the meantime a priest friend and I duo him all the time. The runback can be exciting, and there's one place where mindsoothe helps a lot.

We actually do a circuit: Arena/roccor (I solo roccor since FD is often needed to get to him). Incendius. Bael'Gar. Thats a lot of shards and no instance limit reached, since doing those 4 bosses takes ~20+ minutes.
