FOR HUNTERS INTERESTED IN TAMING A FROSTSABER AT LVL 55!!!
I had to tame a temporary pet in order to get this special tiger. A Bear worked for me because it held aggro a long time even with the orange mobs (just be sure to teach your temp pet the free abilities once its tamed) so I tamed a temp pet to help me clear aggro around these low lvl Frostsaber Cubs. I went in and cleared the extra aggro, and I killed one of the cubs (because they are in twos and both come when u attack) and got my health/mana back up and abandoned my temp pet. Then I immediately droped a freeze trap and hit my tame pet ability. 20 secs later (although it felt like an hour) I had a new pure white tiger to play with. As soon as I hearthed it to Shattrath I got 2 compliments! This was great, and it can be done at lvl 55!!! Best of luck to you! =)

This is a good pet to have at a low lvl at first, but if u want more moves from these cats, try the Frostsaber Stalkers.

dont know if you just tamed the wrong one but they not only look nice. They have a nice dps and right up with a mount

I was up until 4am last night just so I could hit 55 and tame one of these pretty cats. I don't care if everybody has these already. :)~

I actually found it a lot easier than the previous poster, but maybe I was lucky. I only had one issue with a stalker on my way up, and a quick Feign Death got rid of that. First I looked for a cub that was alone, but found out they only come in pairs around the den. So I found a den that didn't have much of anything around it, got in range, and dropped a Freezing Trap. I figured regardless of which one it caught, it was better to have only one of them beating on me while I tamed. ^.^ I was lucky: the taming succeeded right as the trap broke, and my new pet helped me take down the one that was attacking me. Easy as that.

By the way, yes, the cubs come with Cower 6

It came with cower rank 6 I believe.

Got one of these by my lonesome with my 55 hunter. Yeah it took a lot of work because there's TONS of level 59-60 stalkers surrounding the cubs, so make sure you go in there with a trash pet. I grabbed myself a winterspring owl level 55 and went in, used track hidden to try and see the stalkers before they got to me, I ended up running into an area where only two stalkers were wandering around close to the 2 cubs. So I went for one stalker, the owl held aggro for just a bit, my health got low, I feigned death, let the owl take some damage, popped back up, bandaged, and finished it off. Healed up and repeated the same process on stalker number two. Now its just the two level 55 cubs. Repeating the same process on one cub, I healed up, abandoned pet and charmed the second.
The only trick with this is to find an area where there isnt a boat load of stalkers running around, maybe I got lucky. But it isnt impossible if your alone.

While they may look cool, they dont shrink, and run horribly slow.

I found a group of Frostsabers who were levels 55 and 58. A hunter friend of mine helped me pull the 55's away and I tamed one. Now I have a big white cat to match my little white kitten. :)

I tried taming one of these a couple of days ago.
I fed it constantly with highlvl food, had it in battle, but it didn't lvl up in trust.
So yesterday, while waiting for AV and having a snack downstairs, the kitten ran away x|
I've never had this problem with any other pets... Maybe their not suitable as pets? Or am I doing something wrong?

I have done my best to provide Map Mouseovers for each and every beast, wherever possible!
Unfortunately some do not yet have maps, but these will automatically be added to this post when they're added to the NPC's page.

Cower, causing no damage but lowering your pet's threat, making the enemy less likely to attack your pet.
