So What I did was pull the group with a lightning bolt, using the courier (not body gaurds) and began to run, I dropped a earthbind totem to aoe slow them. I turned around and put flame shock (fire dot) on the courier. Kept running. Eventually the guards get bored for you and you will only have the courier. Which is simple as pie to kill solo :)

If you want to kill this guy - just follow him out of the Witherbark Village until his crew runs into the Alliance Cavalrymen that walk the roads. They'll attack his bodyguards.
Target the courier as you're following. As soon as the bodyguards get into a fight with the cavalry, shoot the courier. He'll run over and fight you. The cavalry will finish off the 4 body guards

I used Distract on the entire group as they walked past. Two of the bodyguards resisted it, but the courier and the other two guards stayed put for a minute. I waited until the two unaffected guards got further down the road and kicked the crap out of the courier. Was able to finish off the remaining bodyguards as well.

Just a tip for you rogues out there.

I ran along the road until I found the group. Then I buffed myself: armor, health, etc. If I had it, I used it! I killed the courier, letting the bodyguards hit me. Once the courier was dead, I ran like the ^&*!ens until the bodyguards left me and continued their walk on the road, minus the one they were supposed to guard! I then went back and simply looted the courier. ;-)
Even if the gaurds kill you, try to kill the courier first. You can always go back later to loot.

I just soloed this as a 34 Rogue. The courier was level 35 and had 4 body guards. I just buffed up hit stealth, distracted them, and hit the courier with a cheap shot. I killed the courier about 1/4 of a second before the body guards killed me. All I had to do was go back and loot the corpse.

I tried to solo and ended up with the bodyguards hitting me hard, and two spiders aggroing. I instead got my 70 there, killed the bodyguards, then ran off and got on my alt. The courier reset but the bodyguards didn't spawn back.

soloed as lvl 32 warlock. sent in voidstalker, killed courier, resurrected from soulstone after gaurds beat the tar out of me, picked up the folder.

I just happened to catch up to the target as the Stromgarde cavalry were on the spot, and I killed the target, and the cavalry took care of the body guards! What luck!

1.13.X Classic... Second week. He does not spawn at all. 7.9.2019 Fixes should be probably made.

In classic, abandon the quest to respeawn mobs doesn't work (I try 3 times).

The respawn is in the southern-most house (60.25, 59.09).

Did this in classic. Adding my insights here:
If they reach Tarren Mill, they will be protected by the actual horde guards, making completion impossible. However, they will also despawn when they reach the town. They only travel in one direction. Respawn takes maybe 15 minutes.

Obviously easiest way to do this is to simply burst down the courier and run to your corpse, but the threat detection of the guards seems a bit off: I attacked as a warlock, then used my imp to follow up, but the guards still targeted my imp first. This gave me time to kill and loot the courier. I also managed to escape because the guards gave up chase surprisingly quickly (after 30 - 40 yds). Could have been luck.

Veryyyy long respawn on this guy. Been waiting around 30mins so far...
Prepare for a long wait, or get on it if you see them and need it. Otherwise it's a pain later on.

Edit: According to the guy who killed it before me, then when I saw them respawn. It was all up about 1 hour.

The courier and guards are humanoid so, as a hunter, you can track them. I tried to kite just the courier from the group but the bodyguards stick with him even if you don't hit them. Best tactic I could find as a hunter was to get my pet on the courier and drop him while kiting the guards away from pet. Then feign death when he's dead. Happy hunting!

I saw this girls body just outside the farm and within 2 minutes she had spawned again.

The Forsaken Courier and her bodyguards despawned at the house, in front of Apothecary Jorell, instead of starting their patrol towards Tarren Mill, while I was clearing the orcs around before engaging this 5-man group. Had to wait exactly 45 minutes for a new spawn. Abandoning and taking the quest again did not trigger any spawn. This quest chain is definitely not worth the time if you run into a similar bug.

Came by the house in Go'shek farm, did a /tar Forsaken Courier and she was in front of the house but she despawned by the second I reached there. Camped the farm with 2 other dudes taht abandoned and picked up the quest to see if she spawned, nothinig. Ocasionaly, the bodyguards spawn in front of the house but despawned after 5seconds. Think the quest might be bugged.

EDIT: So I don't know if it was either a coincidence or wahtever, but the Courier spawned ONLY after a 5th player picked up the quest for the 1st time. Neither me nor the 3 other dudes on my party's attempts at abandoning and restarting the quest worked, it was only when the 5th player showed up

Spawns around (60,60) with four Bodyguards, all around lvl 35.

If you want solo it, you need crowdcontrol. It was easy possible as lvl 39 priest with fear, bubble and healing.

Abandoning and picking up the quest spawned the mob for me.

She spawned without bodyguards and when I killed her I got the error message "You do not have permission to loot that corpse" and the body despawned.
Waited, and then she spawned again - with bodyguards - and I could loot the body.

Saw here body at Go'Shek Farm around 60,60. Some mages were aoe farming. She respawned after 6 minutes in front of the 60,60 house with bodyguards.

One significant point I'm surprised people aren't talking about is this: if the courier is still near the farm when somebody starts the escort quest later in this chain, the courier will despawn. Starting the escort also resets the spawn timer on this mob. The courier will not spawn until a certain number of minutes have passed since the last escort was completed.

Yes, it sucks. No, you're not going crazy when you've been waiting for half an hour when all the comments say it's a 5-minute respawn. The area might just be too active (or rather, just active enough) that this NPC is going to take 2 business days to appear. The orcs around the house have a much faster respawn cadence, so grind some wool while you wait or just move on until you find her on the road later.

As far as how long it takes, I've watched this pattern for a few rotations and I have yet to see her spawn in less than 10 minutes after the escort gets completed. The respawn time seems to vary by several minutes. If I had to estimate, I'd say around 15-20 minutes per respawn (without escorts) seemed about right.

For fun, I kited these guys into the Stromgarde cavalry patrol to see what would happen. Sadly, the alliance easily overwhelmed the horde patrol.

Farmed the orcs waiting for Courier 1h+ yesterday, also checked the road today and no one has seen him, might be bugged atm
