At today's meeting announcing the news, Bungie staff cheered loudly. Can't over-emphasize how happy they are not just to get away from Activision, but to have a game that they now own completely. Imagine a Destiny free from Activision's restrictive annualized schedule!— Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) January 10, 2019

What a shock! Isnt it guys? Were you not as shocked as me? We did not see that coming!
Blizzard made great profitable games because they made games to be fun and games the developers liked to play. This is how you mak egreat games. Gaming companies fail as soon as the fun goes out the windows and profits become the reason for making games.
I wish Zidormi would have an option to go back when Activision didn't have control over everything...
Now Tencent, its your chance to grab it !
Well I hope it works out for themBut neither game was ever really amazing. They had problems way beyond anything that could have come from activisions doing.
Activision turned Destiny in to a P2W game and it lost players. And now they're giving the publishing rights to Bungie....I have fears that Activision might make WoW in to a P2W fest putting the final nail in the coffin and ending the franchise.
Nice. Blizz it's your turn now
Come on, Blizzard you can do it too! :PNot that it will solve all the problems... but I dislike Activision enough to see them crash and burn. :>
Looks like - "Activision ship is sinking, and rats abandoning the ship".
Guys, come on hold your horses, activision has nothing to say about Blizz.see this article https://www.wowhead.com/bluetracker?topic=68419®ion=us" Somalion: Activision-Blizzard is a stock holding company Activision is an independent developer under that stock holding company Blizzard is an independent developer under that sock holding company King Games is an independent developer under that stock holding company MLG is a Esports promoter under that stock holding company Blizzard publishing (?) is an independent publishing company focused on movies, books, tv shows etc. under that holding company. This, but Blizzard publishes our own stuff. It’s not a separate entity. You could delete that last line and you’d nail it."Activision published for Bungie and is giving that right back to them, nothing more nothing less.Blizz teamed up with Activision to get some streamlining profits on infra stuff like internet connections, better deals with hardware and computer rooms, printing stuff etc. etc.The "problems" right now with WoW are because the gaming world is changing and they are trying to keep an 14y old game attractive to a totally new generation of players, because a lot of older ones left. (grew up, married, jobs, children to name a few)
There is hope!
Blizzard next please.
Take note blizz, do the same!
What is Destiny?
LOLKeep trying to up that stock price boys. Board is riding them hard.
