What We Know So Far: That Blizzard is interested in doing it.That's all folks! No But it looks like this whole Classic thing is easily 2-3 years down the road. I doubt we will see it till late 2018 at the earliest and most likely around mid 2019.
If I have the chance to get the black qiraji Account-wide I will be creating my char on a vanilla server as fast as possible, otherwise I will not have more enthusiasm to play vanilla. If it's already difficult to have a 20 man core these days, imagine finding 40 people to do Molten Core.
There was community involvement in the decision - directly (such as dungeon runs) and indirectly (general feedback)dead end.community will want new models, arenas, pandas, demon hunters, flying, pay2win, etc.
I can't wait to play my childhood with my dad again. Do you think they give you free access if you send them a tweet of your game discs.

I can finally try Vanilla and experience what people claim to be the best expansion ever. I hope all the quality of life issues are addressed in this product because I have heard a lot of horrible things about Vanilla's player experience.
Just hope if they do add a Classic server, that they do not make Naxx insanely hard.
Never got to play vanilla so I think this is a great idea and cannot wait to try it out!
This is the only announce regarding WoW at this Blizzcon that I like. Can't wait to get more details ^^
I'm worried about peeps that will change to classic, sure they won't have time to play both current and classic wow.
I'm not sure if I'll enjoy "playing" Vanilla servers... but for sure I'd like to revisit some old world zones, pre-Cataclysm! Oh, old Azeroth, I miss you so much! :O
Sounds like an interesting concept, but i fear the community's interpretation on what classic wow was. It was full of bugs and unplayable specs... hope they do a little fixer upper
I read the comments of the people who want to play Vanilla and I find their comments contradictory. They want to play Vanilla but they want them to have account wide or looking for raid system, they want to have the new graphics, they want raiding to be easier, they want to have many improvements of the game that have come out over the years. Vanilla did not have all those improvements ... Then a real vanilla means not having what the game currently has. When people start trying to get 40 hardcore gamers and can not kill most of the bosses in Naxxramas or MC due to lack of resistances, posions or bad mechanics etc. then they will stop playing Vanilla. And I wonder if Blizzard will allow people get Corrupted Ashbringer again?. In Vanilla Blizzard modify or remove from the game some things for some good reason.
I cant wait for it.
I played vanilla... I do not miss the grind.
I like how they evade the question why they decided to make legacy servers :>Answer would be: Our players wanted the classic WoW feeling. Well, we listened to them.Translation: Nostalrius was taking away too many subscribers so we had to shut them down. But it's okay because we are giving it to you...for a price.Would play though :P
I played wow in vanilla and I have powerful memories of so many things from then. 40 man MC runs, my priest craving the Prophecy set and Benediction, and the inability to fly anywhere. Seems like a nice project and option for people to experience, but I would now never go back to it for my main gameplay. So for me it willl be a "ooh let's have a play and wake up some nostalgia", then back to my 12 mains to carry on with latest gameplay.
Unless I can try to earn the black bug and have it sent to live, I don't care.
As i missed out on WoW when it first came out it'll be interesting to play it as it was when it started
