Great giveaway once more wowhead :) nice work guys!
There is a point when Homogenization crosses the line. Removing hit to replace it with a direct damage/healing stat is boring and lazy. The playerbase is better off with only two secondary stats.
So far I love the majority of WoD stuff. Can't wait till it hits live servers and I will be able to explore Draenor
"Goal was to re-evaluate what defined classes and made them fun."So rooting my Melee class Enhancement Shaman to the ground slinging off lightning bolts as one of my biggest damage abilities is fun? No, re-evaluate this again, because enhancement is going farther and farther away from what the class was and should be; "A totemic warrior who strikes foes with weapons imbued with elemental power." At least I have a ret pally alt...
making tier tokens turn into the set item is great. but does that retroactively work for legacy content tokens?
While I would have *loved* to hear about something new in regards to WoW that we haven't yet gleamed from the beta, I'm glad they took the time to clear up some of the common misconceptions that seem to have arisen around the changes in 6.0 and WoD. The less confused and spreading of fallacies the better, IMO.
Newest patch is great, glad they explained their thoughts though
I have been a huge fan of all the class and item changes lately. It did take some getting used to, which I think some people instantly labeled as "dislike!". But I still think the core of the gameplay is there, which is great. My favorite change BY FAR is the addition of the toybox. I love having all my stuff in there, and not taking up bag/bank space. It's also really cool that all my characters can use these items (pending reputation requirements...).
Honestly I've liked the changes. First, soloing old content, you still need to know the fight mechanics for a lot of it, so it still is interesting. Second, CC reduction. I hate world pvp, sitting there for 30 seconds stunned, frozen and feared, and then dead before I pressed a button. This will definitely help. And ability pruning, so far none of the 7 classes I play at 90 have had essential nerfs that I can tell to make them broken, so I think it is nice to know all my buttons are there, not somewhere on the extra action bars.
Man I'm loving this expansion! Can't wait for thursday!
I'm all for *some* ability pruning, but I hope they don't forget what makes the various classes fun! We still need flavor abilities too.
Very excited for Warlords of Draenor and very happy with the current changes to classes! Can't wait!
Pretty disappointed that the only actual panel for WoW was repeating last years panel with different slides =P
we will never be slaves.. but we will always play this game..
Will be interessting to see how overwatch turns out.
Yet I still complain that they should have at least left Fel Flame to Destruction Warlocks. I was mad at the removal of curses, but I can understand their reason for it, hell, to a certain extent even Carrion Swarm. Fel Flame, however, is the spell I'll miss the most.
So another expansion-long legendary that we won't even get a cool model... i'm disappointed, maybe it will tell a story but i think another exclusive legendary would be good for the game since everyone can work on the ring at the same time it will be as "special" as the cloak.
Cool beans
From a resto druid perspective I really embrace the abillity pruning and the current state of healing mechanics. I feel my heals are more powerfull and thus more important. Which makes me take a greater responsibility . And I like that. I like the stat squish and the uniformity of the stats along the leveling curve. I really can't wait for the PVP changes, since these changes really encourage me to try PvP-ing,without the punishing palm of entering late in the season. Easy to learn and hard to master. And that's what blizzard delivered. Oh man, can't wait to fish in my garrison in WARLORDS!
Can't wait!
