When Arthas struck me down, Frostmourne shattered my soul. But it was not divided into one part that was noble and another that was cruel.

Rather, it was as if a portion of my consciousness remained frozen in time while the rest of my soul carried on.

To feel that missing fragment restored... well, it has caused me to reflect upon many of the choices I have made.

My only problem is because it was only in a book before they did basically all of the current story arc most players never had that context so this comes across like a retcon.

Also BFA felt like they were changing the story arc for her until Shadowlands seems to be wrenching it back on the original path. the plan was (as chose and agreed upon by saurfang): attack, kill baby druid boi,break the spirit of alliance afetr they lose such an important and powerful person, then attack Sw and rest of nations leading to a quick least bloody end to the war.

Saurfang decided "nah fam on second thought i aint gonna follow my plan lul" which threw wrench in entire act.

I’ve been writing Sylvanas personally since 2006, and this is pretty much – the Wrathgate and the Blight and the Forsaken – in character. Those were all under Sylvanas’ orders. What we’re seeing now is an escalation of the plans Sylvanas has, clearly, and we’re in the middle of that.Comment by MapleineIt's quickly coming to the point where you have to completely turn off your brain and ignore the completely amatuerish plotting and characterization to get anything out of this game, although even that is coming to a close.

The writing in Legion and BfA was poor but what we're going on here is seriously some of the worst prose I've come across in an RPG before.
