Upcoming WoW Classic Content Unlocks - Arathi Basin March 10th, Zul'Gurub and Green Dragons April 2020

Arathi Basin is a 15v15 battleground located in Arathi Highlands. This battleground is based on the conflict of the supply forces for both factions in central Eastern Kingdoms - Arathi Highlands is a critical zone for both the Alliance and the Horde. Both factions battle over the natural resources of the basin to claim said resources for their faction. In addition to the battleground, players can earn reputation and buy rewards from the League of Arathor and Defilers factions.

Zul'Gurub is the original troll raid, added to the game in patch 1.7 in order to create a step between small dungeon groups and 40-man raids. The raid consists of 10 different bosses, with the final boss being Hakkar, the Soulflayer itself. Defeating creatures inside the raid provides reputation with Zandalar Tribe, with a full clear rewarding around 3000 reputation with the faction.

Notable Loot: Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds, Nat Pagle's Fish Terminator, Heart of Hakkar, Swift Razzashi Raptor, Swift Zulian Tiger, Primal Hakkari Items, Zul'Gurub Class Trinkets.

With the WoW Classic PTR now open for business, we have a test environment where we can dig into some of the content that is coming soon to WoW Classic.

To be specific, our plan is to open Arathi Basin on all realms the week of March 10. At that time, we will also kick off the Battleground Holidays system.

We plan to open Zul’Gurub and release the fabled Dragons of Nightmare in April.

We’ll let you know as soon as we have an exact time that those content unlocks will occur.

For anyone reading his and my reply, he forgot to mention that the PvP Honor System was rushed and introduced way earlier (we got it by half the time after Classic Launch than the original Vanilla Launch) than in the actual timeline of vanilla.
Dire Maul and Worldbosses was also early by a few weeks.
You also seem to ignore that Blizzard releases Zul Gurub (1.7) together with the Dragons of Nightmares Worldbosses (1.8) within one phase, again speeding up content.

They are rushing Classic Content, it's a fact and you ignore the previous rushed content by looking at raid releases only.Comment by Mafia1882I dislike bait comments like yours.

This makes no sense whatsoever. Blizzard makes money from both Classic AND Retail WoW, they're both the same subscription. I understand that you could potentially make the argument that people playing Classic won't buy the new expansion, so they want to rush out all the content so they'll switch over to retail, I guess? Just typing that out made me realize how stupid of an argument that is, so I don't actually understand where you're coming from.Comment by Flipityflu

Maybe the reason that things are being pushed out SLIGHTLY faster is because people don't have anything else to do in the game? A lot of people simply log in once or twice a week to raid and that's it. Seriously, people are complaining that we are getting content now!

I thought people wanted classic so they could enjoy the original content, not absolutely decimate everything as fast as humanly possible...
