The excuse for banning GDKP immediately stopped holding water when RMT and Botting increased substantially on SOD and remains out of control on Anniversary servers. Almost like GDKP wasn't the problem at all.But that's not a conversation people are ready to have yet.

GDKP honestly killed the current version of classic (currently in MoP) and ruined pug culture for classic. Sorry I don't have 300k to pug a raid and buy gear.

It's not only toxic, but also ruins the whole fun of joining a pug raid, only to lose upgrades to people who can swipe their credit card (Not for tokens, let's be honest, it will be bought on shady websites).When GDKP's weren't that popular, even logging in at 3pm on a weekday, there were runs for stuff going, you don't need a set raid schedule to do Classic raiding..

Its a no brainer.Its classic and people show up right away with thousands and thousands of unlimited retail-like gold values. Its RMT and everything else that it entails (exploits, bots, multibox, etc.).Pug scene just went downhill with it. Back in retail for those same expansions, since the player base was really big, you would still have a healthy normal pug scene. In classic, with the smaller player base size, having most people only doing GDKPs, killed the pugs. I was suprised to find that you would need find hidden communities of normal pugs instead of hidden communities of RMT groups out of the game.
Laying out so many points pro GDKP when its been objectively bad for the game. This is gross.
