Global in person events makes me hopeful there's an Australian or New Zealand stop.
Is anyone that surprised really?
I think this is 100% the right choice. not having people from all over the world rush to one single location is gonna reduce the load and lessen the bad experiences many people had during blizzcon 2023
Blizzcon is really expensive, and nothing they showed last year was exclusive to the event itself, plus the tickets didnt sell outI'm thinking they're done with Blizzcon
Damn...the one year I really was trying to go to my first Blizzcon (TWW release AND my BFF is going to be at Disney the same time so that was going to be an awesome meetup for us).
As someone who has never attended Blizzconn, nor probably ever would, I was expecting these comments to be a total *!@# show. But instead, it seems like the consensus is "makes sense." Hopefully MS can breathe new life into these franchises.
US government probably planning another warr, so just giving a heads up for blizzard =(
Thanks Wowhead for reminding me that 1994 was 30 years ago. Didn't expect a small panic attack going on wowhead, how time flies. Also this sucks. Hopefully they have a cool ingame event planned at least.
Saying that BlizzCon 2023 was a "disaster" is not a very good argument for why they can't host a better one for 2024.Still though, yikes.
CEO's....ok...how can we cut costs?.. let's fire a bunch of people and have bots handle reporting of issues. Deal...ok..now how can we cut costs?...let's not spend money on a blizzcon..
New Blizzcon is kinda pointless anyways, so why bother? All the horrible things that happened behind the scenes aside, old Blizzcon meant something, the new one is just an overpriced soulless PR event.
What a bunch of crap, its WoWs 20th anniversary and they cannot even have Blizzcon? It's just Blizzard doing everything they can to not ever make a correct decision about anything.Talk about throwing your players under the bus.
That's absurd.
