About damn time there was something new from the events. Now just make the gear drops worth doing the events (not super high ilevel but not garbage) again.

Oh valentine is giving a new toy, is it a new love rocket?

Comment by Soeroah

Oh no more stuff to do the old content again for

Comment by ianmarty

Great, now what about adding all the unreleased cosmetics that exist but just dont have any purpose?

Comment by Silmafarion

That skillet toy is my jam.

Comment by deathlavitz

if the love is in the air stuff not a toy, not really interested. however probably better to keep them in case they become toys though :(

Comment by DrDetonator

just what I wanted, another winter veil toy i can only use during winter veil. bah humbug

Comment by JotaRandom

i like the evon petals, i might get it next event

I wish they'd take these events more seriously, the thing I like about FFXIV is it always keeps it's events interesting, every year there's something new to obtain from their world events meanwhile Blizzard's just like "Eh, let's wait 2+ years to add some toys "

wish they also update the vents make more stuff to do during them make new holiday zones like DMF but one for each holiday

Comment by irdamajere

Can't they just make a toy? I already have that, why make me grind for an item that does the same thing...

Comment by frostyboi93

'' Love is in the Air '' will be allowed lol?

I think more people would engage with it if they did the essence of what you're saying, but in the capitals (all of them, not just Stormwind and Org), and maybe in the area around the outside of the cities, rather than in a new zone. Not like they do now, but continue to grow it a little more every year, both in things to do and in how it affects the environment. Snowy weather at Winter Veil, ghosts haunting during Hallow's, etc, etc. They've all grown substantially since where they were when they were first introduced and they were awesome when they were new, but they would be more engaging year after year if they were continuing to grow organically and they actually affected the world more than just some decorations over the inn door and a random buff you stop once an hour to go get. There has been some movement in that direction but I don't think it's been enough to keep people looking forward to them.

I think that about DMF too though. I love the island and the first couple months, I spent a lot of time there but it has barely changed since then and there are only ever people there to get rep buffs and then they poof off to rep grind. People would continue to engage with it more if it had continued to be in Elwynn and Mulgore alternately and they had rolled up with all the rides and games like a state fair instead of being tucked away where it's easy to miss if you don't already know it's happening. I enjoyed how they'd show up and pitch camp first; more of that sense of change in the world would increase engagement.

Ahh, I remember the days when WoW was no a full time job If you want to play some alts. I would have done this stuff, but I have severap dates in Torghast, a bunch of conduits to upgrade on my disc priest, a raid to clear on main for shard upgrades and the last few renown to unlock Korthia campaign and then do it on my Hunter, on top of weekly caps ofc, before I’ll consider doing stuff like this.

BORING

The lack of effort to get people engaged is overwhelming

Comment by Ironyman

My favourite is the one where they make the game better instead of making toys that no one uses more than once.

Comment by Asarkhadon

They make us farm myriads of thing from new expacs and add things to old events? What I am, a 24 hour online robot? Are they sane?

Stop adding content. There's more than enough.

Comment by BeedrillEU

Wish they would make Omen in lunar festival more relevant. I thought they would do something with him in Legion but nope.

A mount or pet would be cool but it’s kind of a forgotten thing now.

Comment by CarrionCarcass

So go keep playing ffxiv?

Comment by Ethandrial

As a community, constantly encouraging people to go and stay away really hasn't helped our playerbase. He makes an entirely valid point of holidays being redundant for content nowadays so keeping it fresh every year is important.
