Oh boy yippie and soon this will be in the usa if the "protect the kids" people get their way. Who knew using them as a human shield was a good way to take away peoples rights!
Always love seeing government stepping in to take care of kids instead of parents!Governments certainly do know better what kids need! It wouldn't possibly have anything to do with complete authoritarian regime of the UK. /s
Pull out of the UK entirely, cowards.
Why now...?This move will be at Microsoft's or ABK's insistence... and will harm those players in the game who have zero current (or future) need for the forms of ID that will be required to verify their age.I haven't had or needed a valid driving license or passport since 1996... and I see little reason to get either, now - aged 61.NO; I do not have any plans to buy a car or travel to other countries... I prefer to stay indoors (neuro-divergence makes me socially awkward & introverted).
And soon, the EU will follow. I hate this timeline.
lol redcoats suck
yay........ more personal data to be sold out.... cant wait to have more scam callers out of this... its already bad enough...
And what happens if your account is literally 20 years old?Hell my Warrior could technically pass this, made him in BWL.
Well thats me done. Will never verify my age for any game. 20 years and im out
Dystopic
Age verification for a game that was refurbished and censored for toddlers
Guessing those of us with accounts older than 18 years don't have to do the age verification (as those accounts are old enough themselves), I know my account hasn't been flagged but only guessing since I've had it about early 2004 when I signed up for beta testing
xd its startingAnd the EU is next with how things currently are, despite the majority of the ppl opposing it.
