I figured it would be nerfed, I'm just surprised it took this long. Was fun while it lasted, at least. :)
Wow...That's a hell of an ability to hot fix Blizzard has. I was doing the Data Anomalies and figured out I can still cast abilities while this was channeling. Then suddenly it seemed to stop doing that without me logging off or anything.
why the nerf ? its not like this trinket was for a certain class / spec ? everyone can get it and its not that powerful compared to incoming new raid trinkets. this doesnt make sense whatsoever

I do believe this trinket was overpowered, but I would of rather the damage itself get nerfed instead. Now it's much harder to use this without accidentally interrupting the cast.
As a tank I couldn't be more happy. For a minimum setup of my mitigations I can pull this puppy out and blast nice holes in whatever I want dead.

Are you crybabies really flooding this comment section because a 400-415 trinket meant to be nothing more than a temporary gap closer for people who didn't do top tier content last tier, is suddenly not more powerful than 445 mythic raid trinkets? Clowns. It was fun you were never supposed to have from a trinket that was never supposed to be the undisputed best in the game for 3-4 weeks until people began landing mythic titan-forges (And even then this thing was beating them for many classes).Appreciate the time you didn't deserve with a trinket that never should've existed and get over your whiny nonsense.

I've never seen people acting so entitled before, just like spoiled rich kids.Seriously, balancing a trinket that dealt more damage on it's own than most abilities is not "fun police", it is common sense and the trinket still does the same damage it did before.
I'd still say this was a victim of the fun police.. It was fun to use..weave it into your rotation / use it while using other spells.. Now it's back to use and forget or proc trinkets. And I don't care about pvp - don't completely ruin how it worked, nerf the damage or how fast it ticks
This punchcard was obviously bugged and needed to be fixed. I don't see how this is a "nerf" when it was not working as intended.
I agree with all the people stating it's not the fun police. It was WAY op the way it was. Macro and forget it. Just plain OP. I read it as a channeled attacked and stood there and used it until i wanted to interrupt it to cast a fear and noticed it was still going. I figured it would be fixed after the reset but it was fixed a lot sooner and I'm fine with that. Went back to my old punch card. Don't need another stand and cast as a destro lock. We do that enough.
Now you can't even queue spells but have to actively wait for 2.5 seconds until pressing another button. If they nerf it like that the cast shouldn't be interruptable by your own abilities.
It was totally broken for PvP scenario (even strong in PvE in comparison to other trinkets). I am glad they fixed the trinket so fast before new season started. If you consider 3 people using this trinket, it would be -at least- 180k extra damage taken by the target that is likely getting already bursted down in a hard CC. (60k x 3 approx)It really seems blizz is fixing stuff this patch very fast, I like it ^^
