That community
The guy saying it's not batching and that it's "a timing interaction between a macro and the trade window" doesn't have the slighest idea of what he is talking about. You can literally do it without the macro, just by clicking "accept trade" at the right time. Hell, I've done it myself while testing with argent dawn shoulder enchants. The macro he's referring to is merely a script that says "if you cast time is less than 300ms, then accept trade", it's just making it a bit easier. It's 100% due to batching, and it's also the reason why it existed under Vanilla, because the batching back then allowed it as well. It's 100% Vanilla-like and a result of batching. Nothing to see here, just normal consequences of 200ms batching.
This 100% worked in vanilla. It was even easier as an Aussie playing on a US server because our pings were so bad, although I didn't realise at the time it was a bad exploit. It was in game for so long!
Why change something that was there for the entire duration of Vanilla?#NoChanges ?
plz ban bot
I hope that they disable or remove the enchant ASAP. Stop being idiots, this is in no way good for a game the community already sees as "too easy with the current knowledge". Think about the game and the content, and not about your own interests for once.
As a DPS Warrior and Enhancement Shaman raider, I can tell you for certain that the class enchants are totally useless for many class/spec combos. We SHOULD be allowed to pick another class enchant. For example, the Hunter enchant, even with the useless Ranged Attack Power, would be a huge, huge upgrade for DPS Warriors. It's ridiculously poor game design, that only certain classes/specs will benefit from these enchants.
lv20 chest on lv19 priest? Strange
all these guys talking about knowing about this since vanilla just make no sense... I guess they talk about free servers
"Why change it"?Because it's obviously a "bug" and not intended. They changed/removed the loot-bug and others from classic too, so #nochanges makes no sense at all. Even a 1-3 day ban would be justified, not just a removal of the enchant.
