just nerf all corruptions. annoying to see my performance is based upon getting gear, with rng attached to it. while I'm over here here getting avoidance = to 12% of my haste 2 times+ whilst my DH friend gets 4 infinite stars.replaced titanforging with just another form.
The nerf is pretty well deserved imo. The thing that bums me out is that it's impossible to play with very high corruption (by design) so you will have to make choices on what corruptions to keep and what corruptions to cleanse. The decision between corruptions, especially for DPS, is greatly based around how much damage it does. The uncertainty that a corruption you picked (therefore having cleansed other corruptions) gets nerfed feels pretty bad, as there is currently no way to 're-corrupt' gear and reverse your picking decision.All there is to it is to be lucky new different gear with a high enough item level corrupts into just the corruption you need.
I dont know how I feel about corruption. The only corruption I had was Echoing void it got nerfed. Then I got a Twilight Devastation and that just got nerfed. That is all Ive gotten that has been any use to me. Infinite stars ive never seen, although alot of the ppl i raid with have it. im using a versatility corruption on my hands just so i can have over 25 corruption for azerite talent heart of fear. Other then that, Im very very unlucky with getting an corruption that would be good for me, and my spec.
oh boy imagine winning the corruption rng lottery and having several items with TD, to get nerfed to not best for your playstyle of using it.Well maybe its a big enough nerf so all MDI teams won't be stacking it, maybe we'll see something different. I expect them to STILL stack it with melee.This changes nothing for ranged classes who can roll this effect, it just means they'll want to cleanse it more (if they are not already doing so) or feel less pressure being up in melee. Where they shouldn't be, so now they'll cleanse it or use other effects. *TD isn't a melee range effect so they would just be closer, but if they can still be far enough for certain effects like TD's final boss and the one pillar boss, or quaking giving melee more room to move about this is what i'm refering to before you trolls get your troll on.
The whole system is a joke. My healer friend has 5 or 6 separate pieces of TD and an R3 infinite stars dagger. In the same amount of time played I've gotten one piece of R1 TD. Sure she can't equip more than two or tree of the smaller TD items, but a few times every dungeon she tops the meters simply by pointing towards the enemies while healing. As a DPS spec, that just feels bad.
This nerf isn't a big deal where it matters. It's still enough to mop the floor with almost any pack.IMO they should buff the other corruptions by reducing their corruption amount. 15 corruption is enough to tip you over into the next tier of negatives. On a 470 piece that gives almost no avoidance is stupid.I refuse to waste a single memento on cleansing.
