How boring .... but not surprising given the idea-less state of hunter in retail. Only after years of outcrying it was given a raid buff so it can be taken into mythic raids. Although even that "buff" is a really niche one and feels force (only class without any sort of buff/special raid utility since a few expansions)

I would have loved to see a kind of protection (shielding like disc priest) hybrid playstyle. Maybe with a buffed sentinel owl (not the meme version from current retail)
Or a tank spec.
Or even better a bard spec (like in other mmos or augmentation).

... as a hunter main am not very excited to play sod - except for the opportunity to play a dual wielding (rexxar-style) melee hunter

Mantle Ana from Overwatch and shoot up your teammates, IDK. Feels slightly underwhelming you know, with so many new tanks but only one new healer. Admittedly the tanks were in a worse spot before with only 1 viable option, but still!

Hunters are feeling a little cheated as the ONLY pure dps class left here, unless they end up pumping the hardest to compensate so people still take them? I mean.. mages and rogues are played by many ppl. Having them more roles would fill the missing slots a lot. Rogues pulling mobs has been a long time, why not let them tank at the same time lol.
