Elder Firebeard | Twilight Highlands | 50, 70 | The Dunwald Ruins: - Enter via Wetlands, the path by Grim Batol will be empty due to phasing.
- Can get to Victor's Point without aggroing any mobs.
- However, the Dunwald area will be filled with level 85 mobs and you may have to run back several times to reach the southern part of the town.
- Rez in a good location close to the Elder when the mobs have patted far away from you as possible, and spam your macro.
- Also, can wait until you see someone clearing out the area with questing.
|
Elder Obsidian | Silverpine Forest | 45.0, 41.1 | The Sepulcher: - Ride through Western Plaguelands, Tirisfal Glades, and northern Silverpine.
- The enchanting vendor and others will cry for aid, summoning a ?? guard. Taking her out at range could help.
|
Elder Moonlance | Shimmering Expanse | 57, 86 | Biel'aran Ridge: - Ride around the border of Wetlands, getting to the westernmost point of the coast of Dun Morogh, that's closest to Vash'jir.
- If you fly westward from there, one can reach Vash'jir with a half-bar of fatigue.
- With swimming, it's just over a full bar of fatigue, meaning you'll die and get ported to Sentinel Hill's graveyard--really inconvenient.
- With Elixir of Water Walking, you should be able to ride across The Great Sea in time before fatigue hits.
- Once there, you'll want Elixir of Water Breathing as you swim downwards to the Elder, who has nearby 80+ mobs--another challenge.
|
Elder | Zone | Coords | Location/Tips |
Elder Sardis | Borean Tundra | 59.1, 65.6 | Valiance Keep: take the boat from Stormwind. |
Elder Thoim | Dragonblight | 48.8, 78.2 | Moa'ki Harbor: - Take the flight (automatically learned) from Valiance Keep to Dalaran.
- Use the teleportation crystal to port down to Crystalsong Forest.
- Avoiding wolves, ride through the southwest part of the zone into Dragonblight.
- It will be convenient for later NPCs to pick up the flightpath at Windrunner's Overlook, just beyond the entrance to Dragonblight.
- Once in northern Dragonblight, you'll be in a gauntlet with 80+ worms--it's good to die.
- Take the spirit rez at The Crystal Vice. This will have saved you some travel time and place you right at the Path of the Titans, an aggro-free road.
- Take the Path all the way down, past Wyrmrest Temple. When you reach the sea, turn right and hop down the cliffs.
- You'll now be at the Moa'ki Harbor beach--the town is nearby.
|
Elder Arp | Borean Tundra | 57.3, 43.7 | D.E.H.T.A.:- Take the northern bridge out of Valiance Keep, riding through Farshire. May aggro some undead.
- The wildlife around D.E.H.T.A. is not hostile, making it an easy ride to the north.
|
Elder Graymane | The Storm Peaks | 41.2, 84.7 | K3: - If you've picked up the Windrunner's Overlook flight path earlier, fly back here.
- Make your way to the northeastern part of Crystalsong Forest--you may die a few times as not all mobs are neutral in the eastern half.
- The initial entrance to The Storm Peaks will be devoid of mobs. There will be a few kobolds as you head east to K3, but you should be able to stay mounted up.
|
Elder Beldak | Grizzly Hills | 60.6, 27.7 | Westfall Brigade Encampment:- If you've gotten Elder Tauros in Zul'Drak already, this will be easy.
- Start from Zim'Torga, going onto the main road to the north, always bearing to your right.
- The wide path will take you right into Grizzly Hills, from which it continues as a winding road, again without aggro from mobs.
- Keep following the road south, and you'll soon find the Elder outside the settlement.
|
Elder | Zone | Coords | Location/Tips |
Elder Morthie | Dragonblight | 29.7, 55.9 | Star's Rest: - Once at Moa'ki Harbor, head north through the wolvar village. A speed boost is useful here as you will be riding through a zone with level 70+ mobs.
- The goal is to reach the start of the western road--you may die a few times along the way.
- Once on the road, it is relatively free from aggro as long as you stick to it.
|
Elder Skywarden | Dragonblight | 35.1, 48.3 | Agmar's Hammer: - This is a short ride from Star's Rest. The NPC is located on a cliff overlooking the southern part of the town.
- You will have to veer off the road slightly to reach this, aggroing polar bears along the way.
|
Elder Wanikaya | Sholazar Basin | 63.8, 49.0 | Rainspeaker Rapids: - You'll want to get a summon to River's Heart in the center of the zone first--that's the hardest part.
- Ride north through the Oracle's encampment in Rainspeaker Canopy. People are always doing dailies here, so the surrounding area may be cleared of hostile mobs as well.
- Stay mounted up and hug the river where the map turns brown. There will be small waterfalls and cliffs at points--you will need to circle around.
- If you stay close enough to the river, the undead by The Lost Lands will not have time to catch up with you before you get to the Elder on the northern part of the river.
|
Elder Lunaro | Grizzly Hills | 80.5, 37.1 | Ruins of Tethys: - From the Westfall Brigade Encampment Elder, keep following the road south past the Drakil'jin Ruins.
- You will have to ride left off the road at approximately 72, 39, avoiding dwarf runecasters and slow-moving elite tree giants.
- The actual Ruins are free from mobs.
|
Elder | Zone | Coords | Location/Tips |
Elder Pamuya | Borean Tundra | 42.9, 49.6 | Warsong Hold: - Take the northern bridge out of Valiance Keep, riding through Farshire. May aggro some undead.
- Skirt the edges of the Bloodspore Plains as you head west, staying towards the lake. After the plains, you will find wolves that may easily aggro/kill you at lower levels.
- The Elder is to the north of the town, but a level 68 Crypt Guard is nearby--have enough health to take a few hits or spam a macro.
|
Elder Tauros | Zul'Drak | 58.9, 56.0 | Zim'Torga: - After getting the K3 Elder, ride to the northeast, past Garm's Bane and to the ledge. You may die a few times along the way.
- Jump off the ledge of Storm Peaks, dying and rezzing in Zul'Drak by Thrym's End.
- Ride east, trying to reach the Argent Stand. If you die, you can spirit rez at Heb'Valor, which is very close.
- Take the eastern road out of the Argent Stand, heading north (left) at the fork. This is a main road and won't have too much aggro.
|
Elder Whurain | Grizzly Hills | 64.2, 47.0 | Camp Oneqwah: - From the Westfall Brigade Encampment, take the southern central road.
- When you reach the hill with the village, circle around it instead of riding up to the top and through--that village is not the camp and it is hostile.
- The deer are not hostile in this zone, but you will aggro wolves (if they are not fighting the deer).
- The Elder is not in the camp proper, but the small cliff he overlooks is in aggro range of vendors and guards, so be prepared to spam your macro and die several times.
|
Elder | Zone | Coords | Location/Tips |
Elder Brightspear | Winterspring | 53.2, 56.8 | Lake Kel'Theril: watch out for aggro from level 50+ mobs. |
Elder Primestone | Silithus | 30.8, 13.3 | Crystal Vale: watch out for aggro from level 50+ mobs. |
Elder Skyseer | Thousand Needles | 46.4, 51.0 | Freewind Post: - This is very annoying to reach without a flying mount.
- Fly to Westreach Summit, in the far northwest.
- Swim halfway through the flooded zone until there's an opening in the cliffs to Razorfen Downs.
- When on high ground, look for a small path through the brambles to your left.
- Mount up and make your way through a series of seven islands and bridges, on which level 40+ hostile mobs are fighting.
|
Elder Starweave | Darkshore | 49.5, 19.0 | Near Lor'danel: - Fly to Zoram'gar Outpost, Ashenvale.
- Ride north into Darkshore, taking care not to take fall damage from the cliffs.
- The Elder is outside of Lor'danel proper--stay on the beach and you shouldn't aggro guards.
|
Elder Menkhaf | Uldum | 65, 18 | Khartut's Tomb: - Ride through Gadgetzan into eastern Uldum
- Stay as close as possible to the mountain border--should be able to outrun hostile scorpions.
|
Elder | Zone | Coords | Location/Tips |
Elder Bladeleaf | Teldrassil | 57.0, 53.0 | Dolanaar: - See Darnassus instructions below for getting to Teldrassil.
- Take the spirit rez in Dolanaar and circle around the nearby house--you don't want to aggro Zarrin since he'll call for help and summon a ?? guard.
- You'll probably aggro him anyway (unless you kill him and the cooking vendor from ranged, so try to rez as far away as possible, literally in the house's pool of water.
- Wait for the Sentinel to despawn and then rez, spamming your macro. You'll have a few seconds before the he calls for help again.
|
Elder Riversong | Ashenvale | 35.6, 48.9 | Astranaar: - Swim from the northern part of the lake.
- Try to take out Faldreas Goeth'Shael if you can--he will call for help and summon a ?? guard.
- Even if the guard is summoned, you can stand practically in the water and spam the macro upon rezzing, getting the quest before the guard attacks.
|
Elder Bladeswift | Darnassus | 39.1, 31.9 | Cenarion Enclave: - The biggest challenge is making it across The Veiled Sea.
- If you have a flying mount, this part is a little bit easier--you will still die of fatigue on a slow mount, but you can fly up the island to Darnassus instead of dealing with the teleport.
- Head north for Lor'danel, watching the shades of the water on the minimap, trying to stay within the lighter areas as much as possible.
- Once you leave the lighter water, you'll be in a fatigue zone.
- If you are just swimming, you will definitely die several times from fatigue--will be better with a flying mount or water walking elixir.
- Dying while fatigued will port you to a graveyard by the Ruins of Auberdine, so it's a long run back.
- You can rez while fatigued, getting a few more feet if swimming.
- Once at Rut'Theran village, make your way to the northern-most part of the island. There's a route up the hill that is free from guards.
- High-level Sentinels guard the teleport to Darnassus, so you will most likely die. Try to rez as close as possible to the teleport.
- Once ported to Darnassus, you will probably die again from guards at the top. This time, you will rez in Dolanaar, in the center of Teldrassil.
- Take the spirit rez and ride back through the zone to Darnassus, sticking to the outskirts and mountains forming the Northern city border. You shouldn't aggro any guards this way--until you actually reach the NPC in the Cenarion Enclave.
- The Elder is standing on one side of the stairs--with a Darnassian Protector on the other side. As the Protector only melees, you have a few seconds to talk to the Elder before he runs over and punches you in the face.
- You could also get to Teldrassil by sneaking into Stormwind Harbor and taking the boat across--but we'll assume you're starting from Darkshore since there's an elder there.
|
Elder Sekhemi | Uldum | 32, 63 | The Ruins of Ammon: - Laborious without flying (would need to rely on being ported to a good spirit rez location)
- The area is covered in level 84+ mobs.
- Even with a summon or flying, would need a higher level to kill nearby mobs.
|
Elder | Zone | Coords | Location/Tips |
Elder Stormbrow | Elwynn Forest | 39.8, 63.7 | Goldshire: - Fly to Flame Crest, Burning Steppes.
- Ride south through Redridge Mountains, heading west into Elwynn Forest.
- Stay clear of the human settlements and cavalry that patrols the road.
- The Elder is not in the town proper, so it's relatively easy to get.
|
Elder Darkfeather | Twilight Highlands | 51, 33 | Thundermar Ruins: - Enter via Wetlands, the path by Grim Batol will be empty due to phasing.
- Wetlands can be reached from riding south from Hammerfall, Arathi Highlands.
- Can get past Victor's Point without aggroing any mobs and heading north to Thundermar is also strangely empty of mobs as well with phasing.
- If you are getting the other Twilight Highlands Elder, you should be able to rez slightly north of the village and make a clean break for it too.
- Stick to the river and grasslands, not the cultist areas.
- Pick up the Elder when a Dragonmaw attack isn't in progress.
|
Elder Goldwell | Dun Morogh | 53.9, 49.9 | Kharanos: - Ride from Searing Gorge through Loch Modan into Dun Morogh (take the South gate).

|

Elder Meadowrun | Western Plaguelands | 63.5, 36.1 | Weeping Cave: - Watch from aggro form level 50 mobs.

- Get up to the top-most plateau, then jump down a tier to the south.

Elder | Zone | Coords | Location/Tips |
Elder Firebeard | Twilight Highlands | 50, 70 | The Dunwald Ruins: - Enter via Wetlands, the path by Grim Batol will be empty due to phasing.
- Can get to Victor's Point without aggroing any mobs, but you may die to dragons to the south.
- You'll rez in Crushblow--can spirit rez there, as it's close to the Elder.
- The Dunwald area will be filled with level 85 mobs, run around the edge and then get as far as you can, aiming for the letter 's' in the word 'Ruins' on the map.
- Rez in a good location close to the Elder when the mobs have patted far away from you as possible, and spam your macro.
- Also, can wait until you see someone clearing out the area with questing.
|
Elder Bronzebeard | Ironforge | 29.0, 16.0 | Mystic Ward: - Stay mounted up, as you enter the gate, making a quick left, then right.
- Keep heading left, running as fast as you can away from the guards.
- Jump in the trenches to buy several more seconds of time, taking the northern ramp out.
- At this point, you should be in the Mystic Ward, with the Elders in the pool in the center.
|
Elder Skychaser | Westfall | 56.6, 47.0 | Sentinel Hill: - Ride through Northern Stranglethorn (or from Goldshire if you've gotten those two Elders).
- Mount up and ride as far as you can before Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle kills you at the bottom of the tower.
- If you rez in the right area, you can spirit run up the tower and rez at the top, next to the Elder.
|

- Use the teleportation crystal to port down to Crystalsong Forest.
- Avoiding wolves, ride through the southwest part of the zone into Dragonblight.
- It will be convenient for later NPCs to pick up the flightpath at Sunreaver's Command, close by to the entrance of Dragonblight--a little more inconvenient for Horde than for Alliance, but still easy to reach.
- Once in northern Dragonblight, you'll be in a gauntlet with 80+ worms--it's good to die.

- You'll now be at the Moa'ki Harbor beach--the town is nearby.
|
Elder Arp | Borean Tundra | 57.3, 43.7 | D.E.H.T.A.:- Surprisingly, getting this from Warsong Hold is trickier than it would seem because the nearby roads are covered in hostile mobs. It's best to do after getting either the Moa'ki Harbor or Star's Rest NPCs, because the eastern roads in Borean are devoid of mobs.
- Ride west from Star's Rest (or take the boat from Moa'ki Harbor to Unu'pe in Borean).
- The green patch on the minimap will have some level 70 mobs, but you can ride pretty far mounted up. The wildlife around D.E.H.T.A. is not hostile.

- The NPC is outside the town to the north, but near a vendor that will aggro. Best to spam your macro.
|
Elder Morthie | Dragonblight | 29.7, 55.9 | Star's Rest: - From Agmar's Hammer, head south and west on the road.
