Comentario de Thottbot

how do you talk to this guy

Comentario de Thottbot

Ok I am 300 armorsmith, lvl 60 and even have the breastplate but he won't talk to me, anyone know? Is there some pre-req? I have done the fiery plate gauntlet quest also.

I was the same thing as you 300bs, lvl60, all that and it worked fine for me. I can confirm that Lorax in Winterspring starts and ends the quest, he is in the Frost Gorge, standing in a little temple. So if that is the guy you were at, I am at a loss. But just be advised, he was one of those guys that you had to jump through the hoops for the quest, you know, read his story and talk to him again, all that.

Other than that, if you have the quest. Anvilcrack is in UBRS, in the first room after the Father Flame mess.

Keep your eyes open, some raids skip him. He is minor, and simple, just ask, most cool raids will help you out. You can kill him, and bloody the spear in a Raid, and right behind him, on a coat hanger, is the armor you need.

Be advised, when you loot it, it shows up as a "blue", some people will wonder where it came from, just tell them it's an Armor Master only quest.

Can this quest be done in raid or do you need a group only?

63.73

At least you can sell 5 elixirs of demonslaying on auction for 2g each = 10g profit from doing this quest. Plus there is random magic green plate armor item in the sack which can be either sold on auction for 2-5g or disenchanted into illusion dust (2g) with small chance to get greater eternal essense and large brilliant shard (both go for 10g each).

do u have to have done fiery plate gautlets quest to get this quest? thanks in advance

Comentario de Thottbot

this quest can be raided.

Comentario de Thottbot

I got it at BS skill 280, armorsmith.

Comentario de Thottbot

Can get quest as armorsmith, but isn't the plan "Requires Armorsmith"? If that is true then any hammersmith can do the quest, but not learn how to make the armor.

Comentario de Thottbot

axesmith here. i got the quest in the log. wtf?

Comentario de Thottbot

There is more than one reward for the quest, so other people may want to do it for the additional rewards. such as the elixer or bag.

Comentario de Thottbot

Poorly named mob. The real Lorax would never ask someone to kill. Well... maybe to stop the Once-Ler, but that's it. Gotta hate those thneeds.

i have run lbrs about 5 times all the way thru but have never seen the guy u need to drain the soul from does he need to be summoned first and is the unforged breastplate in the same room?

Comentario de Allakhazam

As a blacksmith and as a Paladin in the mid 50's, I would very much like the reward for this quest. Does anyone know the level needed to get this quest ?

Comentario de Allakhazam

The hardest part of doing this Quest in a PUG is making sure no one loots the Unforged Breastplate before you do, cuz even if they just "open" it to look the item disappears afterwards meaning you have to do another UBRS run to get it. But all in all this is a very simple Quest.

Comentario de Allakhazam

Lorax is at 63,73 in the building that looks like Greek temple ruins. Listen to his story to get to this quest.

Comentario de Allakhazam

is there s specific bs level requirement? as after respeccing to armorsmith i cant get a quest at 230 bs lvl

Comentario de CasCassCasch

Minimum BS level 270 to unlock quest.
Checked at 269 and again at 270 to confirm.
You're welcome.
