Terrain: Ashenvale is a dense forest with many changes in elevation, and a winding main road. Several plateaus can be found throughout the zone, and bodies of water in the form of streams, rivers, and lakes. Due to the rough and inconsistent terrain, this zone is difficult to navigate.

Mob Density: High, sticking to the road is advised (although this also runs the risk of encountering enemy players).

Terrain: Thousand Needles, as the name might imply, is made up of dozens of bluffs in a narrow canyon. The canyon floor is rugged and uneven, although the Shimmering Flats is much more, well, flat. It is challenging to navigate and traverse this zone until you reach the Shimmering Flats.

Mob Density: Due to the zone's compact nature, avoiding aggro from hostile mobs is more difficult. Mobs are far more spread out in the Shimmering Flats.

Terrain: The elevation in the Badlands doesn't change that much, and navigating around the sharp mesas isn't that challenging. Overall the zone is pretty easy to navigate and traverse.

Mob Density: Hostile mobs tend to be fairly spread out, although the chances of aggroing something is likely. In addition, be wary of the 55 elite Zaricotl that roam the Dustbowl and Mirage Flats sub-zones.

Terrain: The terrain in Azshara is very rough and mountainous, especially around the Ruins of Eldarath. The cliffs surrounding the bay and coasts are exceptionally difficult to navigate around, and the zone changes elevation quite frequently. For this reason alone I don't recommend leveling here.

Mob Density: Moderate, mobs are scattered everywhere and elites roam through the zone.

Mob Density: Moderately high, and just about everything is hostile. In addition, be cautious of the Mensajera Carmesí and their elite entourage that patrol the roads.

Transit: The flight path is located in Cenarion Hold near the highest point in the town.

Terrain: The terrain in Silithus is fairly rough and uneven (albeit consistent), with some hills and cliffs. Large silithid hives are also present in the zone. Navigating the zone can be difficult, although traversing it could be worse.

Mob Density: Moderate, hostile mobs are just about everywhere and elite silithid mobs can be found in/around the hives.

Hillsbrad Foothills are Level 30-40 for Alliance.

Since this is the Alliance leveling guide: The flight path for Felwood is not in the Bloodvenom area, but in Talonbranch Glade. Talonbranch glade is all the way in the North. Directly South from Timbermaw Hold.

This is so wrong.

Alliance FP in Bad Lands isn't Kargath.

Feast at the Blue Recluse quest isn't doesn't happen in Dustwallow Marsh but Stranglethorn Valley.

The guide has something wrong in the 20-30 level area.

"Wetlands and Duskwood are viable alternatives to Hillsbrad and Ashenvale. Stonetalon Mountains only offers a handful of quests near level 30."

Hillsbrad is infact the area which has only a handful of quests near 30. Stonetalon is closer to high teens lows twenties. I went there as a lvl28 and I only had 1 quest avaliable in southshore.. Killing tidehunters who were lvl30-32 mobs.

Also Duskwood and Wetlands are far better leveling zones then Ashenvale for a lvl20+ as by your early twenties, most mobs and quests are green in Ashenvale.

I feel like the notable quests section needs to be expanded. Not only are there notable quest rewards, but notable questlines. Duskwood alone has several that reward things like Archeus and Almófar de metal brillante, the latter of which is pretty notable as helmets are rare at that level range. Not to mention epic storylines like the ones with Abercrombie and Stalvan.
