Hey, I was just wondering, what do you prefer for arena? Mooncloth or Satin and why? I cannot decide so I was just thinking of get 2 of each set for the +50 resil.

Mooncloth is meant for healing, and Satin is meant for Shadow.

probably the most stereotypical answer i have ever seen which is utterly wrong.
Satin has crit, Mooncloth has spirit for regen. so it caters for your playstyle.

Mooncloth = spirit = Holy
Satin = crit = Discipline or Shadow
Of course, it doesn't hurt to have a mix of both spirit and crit on your gear.

I said this because of all the bonuses Holy priests receive from stacking spirit.
Discipline benefits more from crit than it does from spirit.
Both specs benefit equally from crit.
Krisnat is right, though. You can't pigeonhole one stat to one spec. If you're facing an arena team worth it's salt, they'll be attempting to dispel your buffs—so don't put full points into Divine Aegis or Inspiration, they'd just be wasted. Thus, stacking crit to proc Divine Aegis would be wasteful.
Spirit will obviously give you mana regen, which grants you a decent amount of longevity which may just help you edge out the opposing team's healer.

No, pvp is different from pve. Disc needs Spirit in pvp for regen in arenas as our mana pool is very low due to gear having low int levels. and if you really want to no the trend. a lot, and i mean a lot, of people are now using the haste gear from WG quartermaster.
so it is completely dependent on play style and setup in your team.
