Engineering is hard, and time consuming. Also costs money money. Other than great perks and very fun!

I would say that if there is something you want that a BS makes then to just get the materials and ask them to make it, but sometimes the really great gear is BoP, which sucks.

Have you ever leveled Bs? Both professions are equally hard to skill up. Eng is a little easier. As for the most part you make something then use the item a little down the road for another item. Bs has its hard points with mithril and thorium peaks.

So both can be hard to level. With you being in the 200 Skill area you should of started or are almost threw Mithril with Thorium being next. After that it gets easy and doesn't for the most part use alot of bars unto you hit the new items.

I would continue to skill up BS. If you choose you can always work on Eng later.

I rather love eng mainly for the mailbox, jeeves, and loot-a-rang. And the fact that i made a flying machine that has scaled with every upgrade in flying i've purchased <3
