Should have made this thread for my 9001st post. Meh, whatever.
So anyway, since I've switched from a desktop to a laptop, I've developed a really annoying habit. I've always used quite a lot of semicolons when I type; I think they break up sentences nicely when neither a fullstop or comma seems necessary.
Since getting this laptop, which has really flat keys with very tight spacing, I've develeoped an annoying habit of hitting the semicolon when I was meant to use an apostrophe. Just a simple typo, but now my finger has trained itself to only go that far, and I do it all the time. It's almost impossible for me to hit an apostrophe now without breaking my rhythm. It means that I either have to re-read my posts to make sure it isn't full of disgusting typos; or post said disgusting typos. And now I'm going to have to retrain myself to hit the right key.
What is something you do that you really can't stand? It can be anything at all.

When typing fast I used to do the classic "teh" all the time. I've just about managed to get over that but now I keep typing "th e"
Who would've though that such a small word could be so problematic >.<

Ah, yes. I've never done "teh", but I often do the space thing. I also have a problem with abd (sic). TBH, this keyboard is just really conducive to making typos.
Also; don't think this thread is just for computer habits. It's any little habit you have in life that you detest.

I was going to write about my tendency to mistype similarly to asakawa ("th e", hitting "v" instead of "b", writing "Lick King" instead of "Lich King", hitting the
index
key instead of
alt gr
key), but then I saw your post and I'll just say this:
Every time I dream myself running, I stumble. It seems like a huge force is dragging me downwards, making me fall down or something. I can still recall it after sleep, but not exactly how it happens. >_>

My ability to type is stored in blocks of somewhere between 3-6 letters. So every time I have to type an uncommon block that starts out identical to a very common block I have to try to type it twice, because the first time I'll finish the more common block. I can even know this is going to happen and fail to avoid it.

I can't concentrate for extended periods of time (2+ hours) without bumping my right knee up and down and/or drumming one of my fingers on the table to the melody of a song I have long since forgotten.

That's just bonus cardio :)
Mine is that whenever I make up a commercial invoice, I have to write the word Best for one of the fields. I always write BEst, and then have to go back and fix it.

I've fallen into that lull where I accidentally use the apostrophe now...

I make so many typos when I'm writing in english that I've had to use Opera to auto-correct my horrid grammar or else everything I type would be either nigh-unreadable, or a nightmare for the more grammar-obsessed.
then again, english isn't my language, so I often forget how some words are spelled (for the past 2 years I've written "wich" instead of "which" :P and that's just the icing on the cake)

I hate that I'm an insomniac- the day after a night with only 2-3 hours of sleep is brutal.

Look on the bright side: you just used a word that probably half of all native English speakers haven't used their entire life =P
