I've only been raiding Naxx 10 for a couple weeks (the extent of my raiding experience), and I am interested in raid synergy. I am Arc/Frost and hit capped (link to my Armory in my profile). Besides Boomkin (who gets my FM every time), what other class/spec combos would my DPS benefit the most from?

Warlock (imp. shadowbolt), shamans (elemental, totems), shadow-priest (misery, but you are hitcapped so you should not need that). These are the once I can think of right now.

a shaman of any kind is always gonna be good for any raid. elemental shammies are gonna be especially good for you, cause of
totem of wrath
. since you have a boomkin in your group, you can actually drop 3% hit rating from your gear because of improved faerie fire.

You want an Elemental Shaman, Boomkin, and a Shadow Priest. These puppies are your biggest buff providers, with Totem of Wrath, Moonkin Aura+Earth and Moon, and Misery+Replenishment. Then you either want another Mage or Warlock with Imp. Shadow Bolt to keep 5% spell crit stacked on bosses.

run heroics with the Kirin Tor Talbard to get the Flameheart Scalpal(revered i think)
if he switches his staff for the flameheart spell scalpel/violet of the ward citadel he would actually be losing SP because of the amount of intel his staff has.. (since he's arcane, intel affects spell power)
I looked at that myself thinking of having him switch to the titansteel spellblade.. it would end up being about the same amount of spellpower overall with the 69 enchant instead of 63, and the amount of intel on his staff.
Think of it this way..
Titansteel spellblade
has 408 SP with no intel. Add the 63 SP enchant on it, and that's 471.
Ward of the Violet Citadel
has 59 SP with 34 intel, so that's 64 SP (15% of 34 = 5.1)
those two combine to equal 535 SP.
Sulfur Stave
which he has now has 408 SP with 90 intel. Add the 69 SP enchant (that's only useful for 2h weapons) that is 498, plus the SP that comes from his 90 intell (15% of 90 = 13.5) and it comes out to 511 SP overall.
An overall difference of 24 SP.. i suppose that could be a worthwhile switch to make, but going to the
Flameheart Spell Scalpel
can only give him a max 423 SP (355 base + 63 enchant + 4.95 from intel). He would actually end up losing spell power.
(423 + 64 = 487) Flameheart Spell Scalpel/Ward of the Violet Citadel
(511) Sulfur Stave
(471 + 64 = 535) Titanstell Spellblade/Ward of the Violet Citadel combo.

Thanks for the replies. I am currently working on growing my stash enough to do the Titansteel Spellblade + WotVC combo. I only ever get to run heroics after raids, as I usually take 1 day a week (zomg, yes, 1 day) to play WoW. What concerns me on the weapon switch is the loss of spirit. I don't know how the loss of spirit (and hence the loss of crit with molten armor) will affect my DPS.
I did plan on losing the hit gem from my shoulders when I logged in next. I plan to trade it out for a +19 SP gem. I'm also hoping to pick up a Titansteel Spellshock ring to replace my Band of Eyes.

spirit is not something to worry about gearing over, especially as arcane because of the 2 min evocations. however, the real downside of switching to the spellblade/ward combo is the loss of intel. Mana is everything in arcane, as i'm sure you've noticed. Yes you'll be hitting slightly harder with the dagger/offhand, but your mana pool will be quite a bit lower, and that's something to consider. Since you'll be getting the extra hit from the mh/oh, you may want to consider going to the fire/ttw spec. It's overall damage is going to be higher than arcane, you'll have more hit rating (since you're already overcapped for arcane), and it's nowhere near as mana intensive. it's something to think about.

I started the game as Arcane way back when TBC was released, and since I've tried every mage spec out there. I find that I really enjoy the way Arcane plays. I find myself managing my mana well enough to just run out as the boss dies (most of the time, anyway). It's a much more exciting playstyle when compared to Fire/TTW and FFB.
I actually think I'm going to stick with my Sulfur Stave. The 24 SP will be totally useless when I'm oom...
