After you turn this in, you can get mudskunk lures to summon Gahz'ranka in ZG. In addition to the lures you will need to catch 5 zulian mudskunks from muddy churning waters in ZG. I've noticed you need at least 380 fishing skill to catch them. I was able to catch with with 260 skill + aquadymamic fish attractor (+100 skill) + a the fishing pole that gives +25 to skill.

doesnt give rep and gave 725 exp at lvl 60 and doesnt give you a followup as far as i can tell

guess you can buy the mudskunklure only after you hand this in

Where do you get this quest at, it doesn't say in the quest info.

there's a spot along the river, a wrecked camp, called Pagle's Point. there's a Battered Tackle Box among all the other stuff strewn about the camp. Nat's measuring tape is inside this box.

ps - if i remember correctly, the camp is along the river, between Edge of Madness and the Tiger boss...? i think so...

Does this quest gives reputation with the Zandalar Tribe? I dont think it looks like but its under the category Zul'Gurub at my quest log and i'm wondering if it gives repu (You might wonder why i dont compleet the quest then i would know,but if it gives repu i wanne save it till the time i dont get repu from mobs anymore)

Ok.Ppl this quest is need it to summon Gahz`Ranka, the 6th boss in Zul`Gurub.Wene u have Nat's Measuring Tape quest go in Dustwallow Marsh at Nat Pagle Npc(coord 58,60)and after u can buy from him Mudskunk Lure that must be loaded with 5xZulian Mudskunk fishs(u can get them only in Zul`Gurub waters)

If you have fishing skill, you'll be able to talk to Nat Pagle about..y'know...the weather and fishing, and big freakin' monsters that live in the water. And he'll tell you how to summon such big freakin' monsters (Gahz'ranka) and sells Mudskunk Lure which is used.

In a trivial way this quest does give rep, it allows you to summon a boss, which when killed will give rep and epix :)

HERE IS HOW YOU SOLO IT:
First of all I am a level 60 warrior with 4959 hp unbuffed and 6689 armor, but I remember doing this all the time with my mage in Vanilla.
You should be able to do this if you don't take too much damage from the fishes.

1.Enter the raid, and mount up.
2.Head left until you see a hut with 2 trolls.
3.Jump on the right side of the troll hut, close to a tree.
4.You will land perfectly to the right side of the hut and left of the snakes.
5.Look a the crocolisk location down below.
6.Swim the short way to the left of the crocolisk.
7.Wait till fishes release you and you are out of combat.
8.Start heading up the ramp after passing the crocolisks
9.First of all there will be a berserker troll coming towards you. You want to trick him, so he is closest to the ramp and you can go on.
10.There are 1xsnake group (2), 2 troll groups (2 per),+1 berserker troll more so it's gonna be tight.
11.Try position yourself so you don't agro anything. Your goal is the hanging bridge.
12.When everything looks ready run straight ahead, past every mob and over the bridge. The mobs on the sides will look pretty close, but this is how normal groups skip them anyway. Just run past and over.
13.That was the hard part.
14.Head left of the big temple till you see another berserker troll.
15.Go past him towards the water, when he is at the furthest away.
16.Jump down from the stone platting, and down to the green grass near the water.
17.There will be crocolisks behind the first plant/tree on your right side, so careful.
18.Jump into the water and head left. I lost half my hp, before finding a secure place further up on the left side (not Nat's camp, but a small step on the left).
19.Wait for fishes to lose agro, and so you are out of combat.
20.Try to jump as much as you can on the left side, fall into the water eventually and swim all you can towards Nat Pagle's camp on the left side.
21.On the beach you should be completly safe, even if the fishes don't lose agro this time.
22.Loot the chest labelled "Nat Pagle's Tackle Box." Make sure you take the quest (accept it!).
23.Smile
24.Hearthstone out.
25.Visit Nat Pagle in Duskwallow Marsh at ca. 57,8 66,3. When you get close to the Island he is on, you will see the quest completion marker on the map.

This is a really fun stealth mission, and even if it takes a few tries to get it right the first time, it feels rewarding to solo it. You can ofc also just do it in a raid group, but where is the fun in that :D?
