Must be noted that only YOU can see the demon that has to be killed. Unsure if multiple Locks on this at the same time can see it.
So you can't get much help aside from someone throwing heals on you.

I just completed the quest "Tempting Fate" in Desolace, I killed the mob, got the "?" on Raszel head, but I got killed by another mob before i could turn it in.
Now the quest is completely gone from my quest log and I am unable to turn it in to get my Grimoire of Synergy rune.
Razsel and the other NPC are still here, but I cannot interact with them, there's no option to do anything, can't abandon quest because it is just gone.
Don't know what to do:( I knew the quest was buggy but this is a bit odd.

I feel like I missed something. The Demon spawned, cast Mind Blast for 1000 damage, meleed me a couple of times and killed me with a second 1k Mind Blast.

It worked fine for me. As of 4-29-2024 use your pet to draw threat and attacks and kill the demon easily. (Did it at lvl 40). After you kill the demon turn in the quest to Doan and get your rune plus the soul vessel.
