This is handed in at the moonwell base found around 60, 71. It can only be handed in while the pvp event is active, as otherwise the NPC is not there.

Why on earth this can only be handed in during the event is beyond me. Just forced players to stop playing the even and run off to go hand in a quest. More dumb game design, absolutley no down side to make this available to hand in after the event.

Felore Moonray is now available inside the Inn at Astranaar (for me at least, Honored with Silverwing Sentinels).
I can turn in Repelling Invaders with here her at the inn between events now.

I have uploaded a screenshot of her at the inn.

They changed her location today. When the battle isn't active she can be found in the inn in Astranaar.

Last night i was able to hand it in in Astranaar after the event just ended. Was just after the recent fix they did.

Quest repeats weekly - You can't get the item that starts the quest if you already have it in your inventories, have the reward or the buff.
Gives 1000rep, even after revered. Its the only way to get rep after revered in ashenvale.

Quest is now daily!

Seems like the Reputation gains got reduced to 100 with Season 2 (turned it in on a lvl 37 char)

Update: gives 1000 reputation again

The Battle for Ashenvale weekly quests “Clear the Forest!” and “Repelling Invaders” now grant full XP and reputation rewards, through level 40

Only got 600 rep when I did the quest a few minutes ago, I'm level 32.

UPDATE: Blizz upped the quest level to 40 and now it gives full rep again. Enjoy free exalted in 5 months.

Rep earned decays with level:

30 or less = 1000
31 = 800
32 = 600
33 = 400
34 = 200
35+ = 100

If you accept the quest right after looting, your Hearthstone may bug out and stop working until you relog or /reload.

So if you want to HS back to Astranaar after picking it up, HS before accepting the quest from the item.
