On the map (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/npc=9318), there are a bunch of caves in The Cauldron, in the center. The 2 caves farthest east are connected by a walkway. The easiest way to the Incendosaurs is to go in the lower of these 2 caves and take a right. There are plenty of mobs to kill, and they respawn fairly quickly.

They drop Incendosaur Scales, which are useful for Thorium Brotherhood rep as well.

At approx 47,46 you should be able to jump over the ledge on to the top of the cave. When you get to the ledge near these coordinates make sure to check below. Look for the cave entrance as well as any patrols. When you jump down and enter the cave, there should be two slave workers. After defeating them, take a right and head deeper down in to the cave.

It is recommoned that everyone keep this reward! It can be the difference between winning or wiping on some encounters, such as Moroes, in Karazhan.

OBS! Save this reward. Really helpfull on "Moroes" (Boss in Karazhan) He makes a garrot bleed effect that last 5 minutes, makes 1000 dmg each 3 or 5 secounds.

Incendosaurs are found inside the Slag Pit at 50,30. The easiest way to get to them would be to follow the platform along the lava as far as you can before jumping into the lava. You should be able to jump onto a metal platform. Once there you have to make a small trip inside the lava pool and get onto the side as soon as possible. You should see an opening with lots of Incendosaurs inside.

If you go in the second-from-the-right entrance to the Slag Pit, go past the 2 dwarves, and take a right, they're all in there. There's one that's actually in the lava pit that's bugged, but if you go past the lava pool, there's a whole area in there that has nothing but incendosaurs in it. The mobs and the quest work just fine.

As far as I can tell, to go in the second-from-the right entrance, you have to jump down from the rim of the cauldron onto the metal railing between the rightmost and second-from-the-right entrances. Or you can get to the rightmost entrance from inside the slag pit, then take the bridge to the second-from-the-right entrance.

if you're at 48,40 you can straight follow the path to all the incendosaurs :D

or to say it in others words:

when you go into the 2nd-from-right when you're on the bridge jump down at the beginning..

The coord. 47.47 for the cave is ok, but u fiind incendosaur's at 49.36 in the lava.

I had some trouble too. So you go to 49,44 at the top and then u will see a metal ledge that semi circles to 2 Caves. Jump down. Go in the east cave on that ledge and run to the right and up. Dino's galor! And ya..lots of farming.

yep, as other posters have stated..

its the 2nd cave from the right.. stay out of the gorge until u find approx coord 48,40 (right under a crane).. look down and u will see a metal walkway half way up gorge.. drop onto that and its the cave right in front of you..

go in, kill the 2 gaurds and follow path to right into cave system..

most are lvl 48/49, but easy to take solo..

i did this as lvl45 pally pretty easily.. couple of close calls when a 2nd got aggrod

It's not easy to find the entrance. I couldn't find a path to it. I went to the crane on the top rim of the north side of the Cauldron, near the center of the map, then jumped down to land on the wide metal path. There is one wandering dwarf on the path.

The path goes to 2 openings, the one at 47,47 is the correct entrace. If you don't have Cosmos, it's the entrance that has two dwarf slavers working just inside.

If you look around in the in front of of the thorium point to the east.You'll see the slag pit Drop down on the box the drop down on the ground. then go north you'll see a trail goin up.follow it till you get to the middle. then turn around you'll see a cave go in then you'll go north and
you'll see a brige jump down on the other side go north in the cave there should be many on the dinosuras. there easy to kill and stay prety far away from each other so not to much agrro. But thats the not the problem getting out is!

You guys are showing all these complicated ways to go, when really, it's very simple. Get on the cliff above the second cave from the right according to the map. Once you're above it, you can just jump down, and go in... there's 2 miners there, 47-49, but very easy to kill. After that, turn right, and you've found them! =D

Look at the map

Near the C of cauldron are two caves. head to them.
Look down the cliff once there and you will see a metal basket platform thing. Jump onto it.

Look down off this again and you will see another platform. Jump down to it. Turn around and enter the slag pit.

Follow the path a few feet and of to the side you will see a path below you. Jump down to it. Follow it and you will find incendosaurs.

That It Will NOT remove a bleed effect cast by enemies over level 60.... So how will it help in Kharazan? is the Boss below level 60?

Ok guys, here is the way to arrive to the cave.
1. Go to coord 47.45
2. From this side jumb to the platform. It will cost a little health but it's necesary.
3. The cave is at 47.47...GOOD LUCK.

Just completed this quest and it seems that there is lag or the client is slow in recognising that I have the required amount of kills. Would show I have killed 12 whilst I was killing the 13th one etc

Coords for the cave are 48.46 When you enter the cave go rigth then you'll see those incendosaurs and they respawn really fast!

Has anyone else had a problem recieving the quest? I did the other two quests he gives fine. When I talk to him, he does not offer a quest. I have done every other thorium point quest.

The 2 scales you need with each turn in is a pain. Trying to farm enough to get Guild Armorsmith and Leatherworkers up to Friendly and use the nicer stuff from BRD and MC to make the long push to Exalted. At least the stupid things stack to 200.

Seriously, can someone give some good directions to this cave? I wandered all over this place yesterday trying to figure out how to get into that cave. Better yet, has anyone made a map that shows how to access all of the levels in the cauldron and which levels the different caves are on? That seems to be the key to getting in to this cave.

the respawn rate was horrid. I spent 2 hours doing this quest because there was one other horde in there when i was doing it. now its better with 1.10

The information I've found here and on the Incendosaur page has been helpful, I just figured I'd add a few notes so you don't have to sift through all of the posts to get little tidbits here and there. I also posted this on the page just about Incendosaurs themselves, though this pertains to the quest as well.

If you go to the cave at 47,44 (if you don't have an addon that shows coords, look on your Searing Gorge map and go to the cave that is closest to the words "The Cauldron" on it.) you'll find plenty of these buggers.

When you enter the cave, there's a little bridge in front of you. Instead of crossing the bridge, (over lava) look immediately down to your RIGHT. There is a small strip of ground below you that you can jump down on, and you'll see another small cave-looking entrance down there. Again I stress it's the one on your right after entering this cave, since there is also a small cave-looking entrance to your left, but it doesn't take you to the Incendosaurs. Jump down to your right and follow into that room.

You will find approximately 20 Incendosaurs in this room, and the spawn rate is incredible. They pop faster than their bodies can disappear (if you're not a skinner). If you make the rounds in this room, you'll have more than enough to kill for the quest and then some. Each Incendosaur drops between 2 and 4 scales each, so racking up lots of them quickly is easy as pie.

The entrance to the cave that leads directly to them is at 47,47. OR the second cave on your map from the far right, almost in line to the left of the "C" in Cauldron.

49,39 (inside the cave next to the word "cauldron" on your map) begins the ring of them only about 10 on a fairly quick respawn.

If you go through second tunnel from left. over bridge through quarry up ramp, through a room full of dwarves you'll find the icendosaurs. Took me ages of running everywhere trying to find them. Curious what the icendosaur scales are for, stuck them in auction house 31 of them for 25 gold and they sold within the hour.

The directions are good. Just know to jump off the Gorge wall down to the platform in front of the mine at the given coords.

Don't go down into the Cauldron. Go to the top of the second cave, around 46.44 and jump down on the ramp and go straight in. They're all inside the cave and respawn rate is good.

It says a lot about the limited imagination of dark iron dwarves in general, and Hansel Heavyhands in particular, that the best comeback he could come up with for "incendosaur" was "whateverosaur."

Bit of confusion to get to this place, the entrance to the correct cave is at 47.5 47.3.

This is one of 2 linked caves that can't be reached from the ground level - the easiest way is to get as close as you can from the level ABOVE the cauldron on the north, get to the crane closest to the waypoint then drop down onto the metal walkway. There may be a mob here.
From here, looking north, it is the left-most cave entrance. Enter here and follow to the right into the lair of the Incendosaurs - there will probably be at least one Slave Worker to kill on the way. You can also use the right-most cave entrance and drop down onto the same path to the lair if you choose.

Once in the lair, there are plenty Mobs to kill for this quest and the respawn rate is pretty high even if you are sharing.

Once you are done here, head back out to the same entrance and just drop down then you have a couple of options to get back up, the East path is probably easier.

Incendosaurs? Whateverosaur is More Like It

Hansel Heavyhands wants you to kill 20 Incendosaurs.

You will find Incendosaurs occupying the lava pools inside the Slag Pit. The Slag Pit can be found in the Cauldron of the Searing Gorge.

Return to Hansel Heavyhands in the Searing Gorge when you have killed enough Incendosaurs.

Bunions, <lad/lass>. Me bunions got bunions. How am I supposed to do any sort of killin' with me feet in such disarray? That's why ye're gonna help.

Scrange and Burninate tasked me to kill these things so they can send some expeditionary teams down into the Slag Pit lava pools to do some explorin'. Supposedly some incendosaurs or some such nonsense down there causin' all kinds o' problems. Now move along an' don't come back 'til the incendosaur population be extinct.
