I believe the only real purpose of completing this would be to get the items he drops? Can anyone confirm? I mean he only drops 4 or 5 good items as far as I know.

after a paladin completes their epic mount quest, the event can be used as an optional boss.

Make sure when you go depending on your level you have a good healer. I went for my pallie epic quest, if you die after you set the divination scryer the gates to the basement room lock as well as the room above and you have to begin again. Have the person JUST heal, because the Death Knight will caste a spell that makes you attack your own teammates.

Again, I'm only a 62, I brought a 70 holy pallie and we were able to get to the final boss(death knight), then we got wiped out.

I did it with myself, another pally, a warrior, a mage and a priest. It worked perfectly well as the cooldown of judgement is such that if you time it, they can be almost permenantly stunned using just 2.

When you go to see the questgiver after the quest, he sends you back. I was wondering if there's a point in this, or is it just to summon another boss? A kinda lousy boss.

Just tried it for first time: No good.

We lost our mage; so group was warrior, pally (ret), pally (prot), priest, rogue. We killed 3 waves of spirits using no judgement that is in post. Got to I think last wave of spirits, and about 10 of them came. We died quick on final group. Obviously we needed a mage for final group, but our mage left and we replaced with warrior (was nice for clearing room). Let you know how second attempt goes.

i did the q today with NO attention to judgements,,,just fought the spirits...and after getting them killed i got the corrupted spirit, cleansed it by the scryer...and Ta-daaa epic charger in my book. And BTW...single pally in group. True, maybe patch 1.10 changed this...but this is how it happened

This is the last part of the paladin epic mount quest . You head to scholo with your group , head down into Rattlegore's room. Once you've cleared the room , you stand in one of the corner's .

The pally with the item places it on the spawn point of rattlegore and the fun begins .

You get 4 main waves of mobs on which the paladins in group will use Judgements on .

First judgement is Wisdom ,
Second is Justice ,
Third is Rightousness,
Forth is Light .

Each wave has anything between 6 and 10 ghosties (sometimes more) , that dont all come at once , then a named . You have plenty of time between waves and named to sit and drink to regain mana .

Then the big ghostie horse comes , kinda like the baron in strat . Kill him/it and then click your scryer and then talk to spirit horse that comes after :)

It doesnt have to be done by 1 priest and 4 pally's , in fact i saw this not work many times .

As long as you have at least 2 pally's in your group you are gtg :)
