These are scattered all over the shorelines in the Hinterlands (all the way east). The turtles that wander around there are not aggressive (won't attack unless attacked) so this is pretty easy. I recommend you set your hearthstone in Booty Bay so that it's quick to get back from the hinterlands, otherwise the flight is really long.

If you are Horde, you can actually find a lot of bottles inside Revantusk Village. The last time I did this as Horde, I picked up eight bottles before I left the village.

One thing to note is that these are actually on the shore, not underwater. They can be pretty far from the water line as well.

The bottles spawn along the waterline in the southern side of The Hinterlands from about 82.49 to 72.97.
If you are alliance pay attention at the Horde guards of Revantusk Village about 76.81.

This quest can be a problem for alliance, first because Horde grind there, second, because the only way I found to go there is jump off the cliff, which could actually kill people with low health. The problem is that as an Alliance, I didnt find any way back up, so only way is to Heartstone.

If any of you knows a way for alliance to get back up, please say it :)

One thing to keep in mind. Beware of Gammerita! He's a level 48 elite turtle that wanders that strand of beach. He's easy to work around but you just need to be aware of his location. You definitely do not want him sneaking up on you.

Otherwise, stay away from the village guards and this will be a fairly simple quest!

This quest is a pain to do at night, due the the small size of the bottles and the fact that Hinterlands is actually dark during real-world nighttime. You may have to turn your gamma up in video options.

I am surprised people are having this much trouble with this quest. This is the easiest Level 50 quest you will find. The bottles spawn along the waterline as everyone has said. Here are the locations I found my bottles at:
77,77
79,68
81,58
82,52
82,53

Just keep riding your mount between those points and you will collect all of the bottles.

They are NOT in the water. I found the very most of my bottles directly at the shore, just two a few steps inside.

this is an easy quest ne lvl can do it here's a spot to start from i got all bottles in less than 30 secs....start at loc 74, 98 and work ur way north in a Z pattern and u'll find them all WITH NO MOBS!

As you can see this Quest has changed radically since the early days (why do so many of these posts get angry with each other, you gotta chill out fellas) and it takes about 15mins to collect the bottles.. and thats with no-one attacking as the turtles are all neutral. I found most bottles outside Raventusk Village just to the left of the entrance perimeter (going in) and many sacttered up and down the beach. Happy hunting. Warrior lvl 48 ;)

The turtles everyone is warning of are now yellow (wont attack unless provoked) so stop worrying, the only way you can die now is if your stupid enough to try and loot the bottle 10 foot away from the horde camp.

<10minutes to complete once you're at Revantusk.

I picked up several bottle south of Revantusk Village, starting at the south end of the village and running to about where the deep ocean sweeps close to shore.

PS The bottles are all over the coast. I've seen them as far north as the ramp down from the Cliffs, I didn't look beyond there.

These were all along the beach, and the easiest quest I ever did. took all of 5 minutes. Turtles don't fight, and noone to fight.

Turn all your video display options up (remember the ones u turned all the way down b/c u can't walk thru org without lagging to hell and back) Bottles are hard to see but i found all 12 with one pass down the coast. happy hunting

If you want to get up from the coast to the main area, path location-

(76,60) in the mountains.

If you don't have a mod for coordinates (that's what the numbers mean, tell your friends), open your map. See that little peninsula thing on the shore jutting out into the water? Follow that North to the mountains. Then go East a bit. You'll see a path marked with an odd-shaped structure sticking out of the ground.

Easy quest, as everyone says. Cheers.

If I may add my two cents without aggravating anyone :) I already had a flight path to Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands but from there the roads do not lead to the shore.. in fact one of them leads directly into a horde town so I had to cut across land through level 41+ wolves and other beasties..which was fine for me at lvl 41 but still a bit hazardous. Once on the beach, as mentioned before it is a piece of cake.. The bottles are hard to see as they are small and dark blue.. so do some careful mousing. I found it a very delightful change from the killing.. rather like an easter egg hunt..:) Loved it and got great xp (4500).

There was only one turtle which aggro'd. The others were yellow and ignored me. Took about 5 minutes. Hardest part was finding my way out after.

Just go south of the horde/pvp town, there are blue bottles scattered along the beach. The only turtle ya gotta watch for is the 51 elite - but he's not too bad, specially if you have fear kite.

So those who say it's easy now, it is. I don't know when it changed but when I did this at release the turtles were red so you couldn't just freely go get your bottles.

I got all 12 of my bottles in a couple of mintues looking allong the beach area between 79,72 and 82,53 and I never had any grief from Gamarita the elite turtle who wonders the beach area. Just keep your safe distance and do your search and there will be no problems with this quest - very easy with my 47 Lock.

I did it by going to overlook cliffs(big waterfall next to coast) and jumped down into the water then continued south along the shore picking up bottles, the bottles are small and blue and poke up from the surface of the earth, some are close to the water, while others are unrealisticly far inland next to the cliff face. Got all 12 in about 5 mins.
BUT be very careful doing it this way because there is a 48 elite turtle that walks around in that area. Hes a sneaky one, keep an eye on him and pick up the bottles and save the enviroment.

this quest is very easy if you dont have FP go to southshore, go up the road off of south shore and when u reach a T go right(east) follow road until you ge to durnholde keep, go around it towards the back, go on a north east direction, there is a crack between the mountains(which goes north east) follow it until you get to hinterlands, once there go straigh east(if you have a mount its easier because you'll leave agro behing) until you reach waterfalls at end of river by coast line, you can jump from that high to the water then go south along shore picking up bottles. there are turtles there but most of them are yellow and they will not attack. As you follow shore by the time you reach horde camp you should've collected them all.

Might be hard to find them, but it is really easy if you turn up the brightness via Video Options or the monitor's option.

From finding none to completing the quest within a couple of minutes.

I did this quest solo as a 44 warlock. You just run along the shore on the east side of the overlook cliffs and the bottles are stuck in the ground. The only agressive mob there is the 48 elite turtle, but he wasn't even that hard to kill.

This was easy, I did it at level 40. Once you get to the village, as you leave main gate, turn right..six bottles are there for you to pick up. Follow the shoreline and you will find the others easy

One of easiest quests ever done. Finished in 5 minutes bottles spawn anywhere between ocean and the mountains to the west most were so close to each other wasn't even worth remounting. There is a name lvl 48 elite that will agro you, but thats about it very easy.

That red turtle was Gammerita, 48 Elite that does aggro. Just watch out for her- she likes to hang around between the ruined walls closest to Revantusk and that little trollhut up against the cliffs.

Ok here is the breakdown, the bottles are located in around the lvl 49-50 aggroable turtles, SOUTH of the waterfall. The bottles are little purple bottles that are very hard to see.

There are very few of them on the beach area and are annoying to get.

The best way to do this is to fly to Aerie Peak and go East from there to the coast until you see Revantusk Village on your map. The bottles are on the coast, both North and South of the village. Don't get too close to the village or the Horde will be after you.

If you play horde, and you see an alliance player over there minding their own business getting bottles and they are 20 lvs below you, dont be a jerk and gank them. Just let them get their quest items and go home.

What every one has avoided saying is the quest is in Hinterland! North east coast around the 81 mark for the coords. Turtles are tough and bottles are all around them. Get the Gammerita quest too because it is there and you can kill two birds with one stone.

I noticed something interesting while doing this quest. I use my laptop to play WoW, so I can't really bump up the contrast or brightness anymore than it already is. I was having some trouble, until I looked off into the distance and noticed that WoW renders the dark blue bottles before it renders vegetation. So, I could see little dark things sticking out of the ground in the distance since there were no bushes or rocks rendered out that far. So, if you're having trouble finding these bottles, run up and down the beach, and look past where the vegetation stops in front of you.

All over the place starting from just north of the village 77, 79 to 81, 56 in Hinterlands. There is one named turtle (lvl 49) all others are passive and don't mess with you. Bottles are dark blueish and narrow.

The only way I found to get there was a vertical drop which wound up killing me.
Can you jump down the waterfall and land in the water below safely?
I was able to do that at the waterfall at Redridge which was just as high if not higher.
Also, south of that area, I found two houses.. actually, a hut and a gazebo with a wheat field; but, no landmark was coming up for it.
Shouldn't it show up or was it just out of the way decoration for the design team?

The above posts helped alot. Except exactly where it was which is the Hitherlands and how to get there. You will need to fly to either Refuge Point or South Shore. South Shore is closest. Then you go to the ne and go through a valley that will lead you to the Hitherlands. Then you ride cross country to the eastern shore where the bottles were indeed lined up along the shore. Watch out for 40-45 animals along the way and the Elite Blue turtle with killed me once. Btw, I'm a lvl 45 dwarf hunter.

Just for clarification, the bottles have washed up on shore. Wasted a good ten minutes swimming underwater before I found one on shore. For all you Horde out there, yeah, you can find most of the bottles in and around Revantusk. They're small so look hard.

Look for bottles stuck in the beach...in between all thos snappy turtles.

There are a lot of the bottles along the southern end of the coast with no turtles around them. You just have to swim to them from Arathi if you don't want to fight the turtles over the bottles.

Just did this on my level 41 druid. Since the turtles don't attack it doesn't really matter what level you do it at.

Got 4700 xp for one of the easiest quests that I've done in a while.

Yah, the turtles are now yellow. So this is a level 50 quest where you run up and down the coast without threat looking for little blue bottles.

Dunno if the turtles are still red for alliance, but this is a ridiculously easy quest now. I picked up more than half my bottles without setting foot outside of Revantusk Village. Do this as horde as soon as you plan to get the flight path.

I knocked out the 2 quests listed before at once, got 4700 Xp, Booty Bay Rep +275 and Bloodsail Buccaneers Rep -250 at Lvl 45.

Was doing third part of Cortello's Riddle which ends at at about 80.46.

Started heading south and hey there they are. They were all over the ground all the way to Revantusk Vilage. Most were just outside village at 78.75.

Finally found the bottles.
If you look at the map, you will see a 'bump' of land sticking out eastward on the coast. The bottles, along with level 49 & 50 turtles (red text), will be there waiting for you.
I'm a dual-wielding level 50 and didn't have any problems vs. the turtles.

this quest is totally easy, even easier for a rogue! just stealth past the turtles (or kill them) and loot the bottles. it took me about 5 mins :)

The empty camp at 78,76 (its the southernmost of the two "bumps" on the Hinterland Coast) has 3-4 spawnpoints for these bottles. With a little patience you can complete the quest without any fighting.

I found 8 bottles lined up in a nice tidy row, leading up to the gate at Revantusk Village, and continuing inside the village, all the way to the dock and even a bit beyond. I seriously doubt that is where they're supposed to spawn, but apparently it is possible. I asked a GM about it and he sent me the boilerplate "The quest is working as intended" message, so there it is. If you can't find them on the beach proper, and you're Alliance, you'd best come back another day.

The quest description says that the grog was tossed overboard, however none can be found on the bottom of the sea, so don't bother looking there. All of the bottles that I found were standing upright on the shore near Raventusk village. They're all a cobalt blue color and a little difficult to spot against the dark brown soil. The bottles can be found both North and South of the village.Some of the bottles are very close to the village, which isn't an issue if you're Horde, but Alliance should be wary of aggro from the guards. Only one came after me, but no problem to jump into the sea and outswim with my Azure Silk Belt. ^_^

4800XP at lvl41. The hardest part of the actual quest was actually getting there. Otherwise, it was a breeze. Just hearth back :)

Found all of the bottles up the north side of the beach. They were mostly located around 81,55 but I found some as far south as 78,66. If you stay up north in that small area, you should be done in about 15-20 minutes.

I dunno about you but in Burning Blade Alliance never ganks anyone unless they are within 5 levels, so I agree with the second poster.

Dont attack the elite turtle whatever you do. I made that mistake and its HP went from 6000 to 8000 the second I hit it. Then again I had rez or i'd have won.

You'll find a lot of bottles just outside the entrance to the troll village. Some of them are kind of close to the guards, so lower levels may aggro those if they're not careful.

Found 5 bottles there, then made my way North, avoiding the one aggroable elite turtle. The rest of the mobs there are passive. Had all 12 bottles before I even reached the waterfall.

Turning up the contrast will definitely help.

this quest was supper easy. Easiest quest I've done in a long time. Done this a lvl 40 priest. The giant turtles don't attack so that is what made it so easy. I found a few bottles within Raventusk Village, but there is alot along the coast south of the village. I might be easier if when you get to Hammerfall, run like you are going to the Wetlands, on the bridge jump into the water and swim there. I took the long way b/c i had a 60 shammy with me. Swimming there you won't aggro beast.

I found that there are more bottles closer to the village, probably why it was a red quest at 45. I also found three very close together by waterfall at 81,47.

This quest was incredibly easy. start on the shore just south of the waterfall. Walk along the coast line and you will see them as you go. They are especially concentrated near the troll village at the end of the shore. It was a good idea to increase your scren contrast if you are having trouble spotting them.

Even if the quest shows red (im 42 paladin) it was super easy.. Getting there wasnt that hard either.. just take a swim in the river you'll get to 82,50.. Jump the waterfall and you'll be on the shore where the bottles are... There's lvl 50 snapjaw but wont attack you.. I didnt killed anything on this quest and got me 4800 xp and some Rum :P

Classic Pro Tip: Turn Ground Clutter down to 1. Makes it a lot easier to see the bottles.

To find all bottles easily go to System settings while in game, Graphics section and set Ground Clutter to minimum: 1 - This way you will only see bottles and very minimum grass, pretty much bottles on naked ground.

Go to settings - > Graphics -> set ground clutter to 1.
This way its way easier to see the blue bottles.

Yet again, turning off ground clutter is extremely helpful for this quest!

If you have the highest level graphics, the ground clutter hides the bottles. Putting your graphics to the lowest keeps the bottles clearly visible but takes away the distracting ground clutter making it way easier to identify the bottles. The disadvantage is that with low graphics you reduce the distance you can see the level 48 elite turtle that is aggressive and pats around.

The bottles are blueish and on the ground. If you turn down your "Ground clutter" in settings all the way down, you can spot them from miles away.

We was splicin' the mainbrace somethin' fierce off of the Overlook Cliffs, ol' Hinterlands just in the distance. Thought the seas was goin' to swallow us whole.

Ol' Slim knows all about liquid courage! Cap'n had a crate of Pupellyverbos Port we commandeered from a privateer en route to Stormwind.

So when that storm off of Hinterlands hit, I busted into the grog. Big wave hit and tossed them bottles overboard. Cap'n is goin' to give me a taste o' the cat if ye don't help me get 'em back though!
