The room where this guy is at is full of goblins. Make sure to pull each of them into the previous room to kill them. When you first pull them they do an ability that'll knock you down (I think its called "axe toss" or something like that) for a second or two. The shredder paths up to a small little hill in the room, so you can clear the ones near him whenever he paths up there. Once the room is clear attack him. When the shredder dies the driver jumps out, making this fight two boss fights in one. He's easily killed, just make sure the party knows he'll be appearing so no one is taken by surprise.

You would need some assistance on this one.
I was in a group with a lvl 18 druid, me lvl 15 and a lvl 31 rouge. The lvl 31 rouge did all the job with the aid of healing druid. You wont do this alone, mb only if ur a lvl 30+ druid or warrior

After you got your self into the instance after 2min way you 'll find a big ugly ogre 19lvl elite after you kill it the first door opens then in about 3 min way you'll find another door you just open it....then after 1 min way or less you 'll find anothr door and a big goblin machine 20lvl elite appears you must kill this guy to get the item for the quest...I did it all alone with my 28lvl druid it wasn't so bad i was prowling all the time and i just killing the bosses and i was out..if you want to continue after you open the 3rd door you'll find a ship to the 3rd floor of the ship is the boss captain...i died there but i think that it was the end of the dungeon

Go to the Dwarven District and head towards the engineer trainers. There should be a lil gnome standing by a well..turn it into her.

He's after you kill Rhok'Zor. It's the big shedder guy in the Mast Room, with all those Goblin Wood-Workers.

The quest item is dropped by Sneed's Shredder in the room with all the green goblin craftsmen, inside The Deadmines' instance.

The quest hands in in the Dwarven District in Stormwind, location 55,12.

Is it me, or is the lvl elite 19 ogre in here a lot tougher than his ranking? Being a lvl 32 warrior, i still couldn't beat him, yet i've beaten 25 elites before. That ain't right!

For Priest lvl 33 nothing difficult :) Sneed's Shredder drops the item (Gnoam Sprecklesprocket) needed to complete this quest.

Did this with lv 16-20's. Fairly balanced. Single off the elites one by one. With a decent or better party, this is easy as pie.

and a lvl 44 Human Priest

Sorry, but Humans cannot be Druids. I am going to assume that you are not so ignorant that you would make that mistake, so I am going to guess that you don't even play WoW and completely made that up.

And it isn't a huge accomplishment to clear the Deadmines with the help of a level 44 of any class.

Not sure why, but the ripper didn't drop the power supply....Maybe cuz I was in a raid group?

I (17 Mage) did it with two other people (22 Druid and a 24 Hunter)

Go into the DeadMines through the house in Moonbrook. To get to the shredder, you need to head to the instance (portal) in the Deadmines. Have a full, well balanced party with you as there are many enemies you have to kill along the way. Keep heading down the path and pick off any enemies on the way. go on till u see a fat doode. Buff up, and kill him, open the door, clear out any goblins and get ready to fight the goblin shredder. I believe he's around lvl 20-21.

and AFTER you kill the shredder, hurry and pick up the sprocket because Sneed will appear and you'll have to fight him as well. my advice: bring lots and lots of potions and first aid kits ;)

on the way, carefully take out any Evokers since they tend to do mass group damage. good luck!

It helps to have a hunter w/ "track humanoids" to locate and pull gobs/defias ppls one by one. ;p

also you might want to do the Van Cleef mission as well when doing this.

Shredder is WAY under conned. States level 20, but IMHO it's not doable till at least level 25 with at least 4 people.

Yes, if group cooperates, can single pull the goblins, however, we know how often cooperation happens..NOT

The shredder has special abilities such as; fear...so get ready to run uncontrollably, then run back to fight as quickly as possible.

My guild group +1 did this last night.

Top to bottom (VC) 67 Min. Shredder room eaily single pulled.....or double (sometimes have to)

Shedder underconed....Very tough for elite first time we tried like 10 levels ago we did great till he died and we looked at 2 dead and were ok lets...then someone else died...LOL shedder has a driver.......wiped by elie driver...

Anyway at lvl 29 xp for this quest is 310 so it drops off and yes i think that they should look at Tweaking level. Risk vs reward on this quest pretty much sucks.

accept quest in Stormwind /way 55,37, 12,68
create or find 5 man group
go to Deadmines dungeon /way westfall 42,56, 71,34
kill the third boss Sneed's Shredder for drop Gnoam Sprecklesprocket
return quest in Stormwind /way 55,37, 12,68

With the shredder's power supply, we can give our gyrodrillmatic excavationators the power they need to break through the rocky underground borders of Gnomeregan, opening the way for a gnomish assault!
