NA First Classic AQ40 C'Thun Kill by ONSLAUGHT on Skeram

<ONSLAUGHT> on Skeram, the first realm to bang the gong, has achieved the NA First kill of Classic C'Thun in AQ40. The run took approximately 38 minutes, as the guild rushed to C'Thun, skipping Princess Huhuran, Ouro, Viscidus, and the Bug Trio, as well as much of the
post-Twin Emps trash
.
While the Twin Emps kill took a touch longer than expected, due to them healing at the start, <ONSLAUGHT> had a comfortable lead over guilds on other servers, as the gates
opened six minutes before the 2nd realm
. They're now going back to clear the optional bosses for loot, as well as other trash for
Tier 2.5 Idols
. They were also the first guild to try out the
hotfixed C'Thun eye beam
, which made the fight a touch more difficult--but the boss still fell over regardless of the changes.
It's a somewhat-unexpected ending as Skeram is a 99% Horde populated server, leading most players outside of Skeram to predict this would be one of the last realms to complete the war effort. Surprisingly, ONSLAUGHT, which is a world class guild competing for fastest clear times in BWL, completed the entire war effort on Horde and transferred the necessary Alliance materials through the neutral Auction House, to finish the entire thing before all other NA realms.
